as in will you ever go back to your pre-haircare days even if you after you accomplish all your hair goals? Will you ever stop deep-conditioning?

I don't know about you ladies, but I'm in this for life. Haircare was a life changer for me. If that wasn't true i would've quit a long time ago cause God knows how many setbacks I've had in the last 3 years.

This isn't the type of thing you can just tire of, it is something that you do for life. You don't just stop eating healthy and exercising when you lose those last 10 lbs, because if you do you will gain it back in a heartbeat. If you want to see results you have to be consistent. Simple as that.

For me, it's Ride or Die haircare (No retention). I will always strive for my same hair goals I started this journey with :yep:

Of course, I'll keep up with my treatments and techniques.

We all know how neglect and improper haircare can eat away at your progress and when I reach reach my ultimate hair goal I want to stay there.

i'm into haircare for life, but later on down the line, after i reach my goals, i'll definitely be scaling things down a bit. there's no way i'm going to be 80 years old popping biotin, doing coffee rinses, and rubbing monistat on my scalp.

KISS ftw

I hope that I tone things down when I reach my goal. I hope I'm still not a PJ when I have gray hair and one tooth left. :giggle: Hopefully I can find another hobby just as fun!

I'm in there like swimwear! All of this would be a waste, of Time and Money on Products, just to go on ahead and let it go to ruins, cause thats sure what will happen, and will wind up right back where You started! :nono:

Every other day I want to throw in the towel, but it's not like I can take my hair and exchange for a new and improved 2010 model. And if/ when I hit my Goal. I am going to do my best to keep it! Becuase the story THAT hair will be able to tell the grand kids will be an amazing testimony someday!

Can't stop, won't stop. :look:

I actually can't even imagine going back to pre-LHCF life. The thought of going to bed with no scarf or not DCing after I shampoo makes my tummy churn.

Stop frontin, you know me!
I will never go back to pre-LHCF hair even if I never reach my goal of TBL. My hair will still have to be taken care of properly whether it's short or long.

Sorry, i meant to vote for yes :fishslap:

I will keep going because i will always want HEALTHY hair!

When i get to WL i will probably do even more protection styles because i will have more hair..and so that means i have more variety in styles! I actually cant wait to get to a certain length so that my twist will hang longer(i want SL twist:wink2:)!!!! Ooooh and i really cant wait till i can do a cinnamon twist bun:lick:

I was wondering who voted no. Glad to see we're all on the same page. There's no quitting here on LHCF. Quitting is for losers and those aren't us!

Nope, I will not quit my journey. Even after I achieve my goals, I will still employ healthy hair care practices and teach others (if they're willing to listen, lol).

I am on this journey for ever, it is really a way of life and I just feel sad that if I was educated back when I was younger it would have been a staple like brushing my teeth twice a day!

this was a lifestyle change for me so im this FOREVER!!!! besides, im not even sure what my goal is. my first goal was Sl.. made it there and now im on to APL.. i cant say that APL will forever be my goal... what i do know is that my goal will forever be healthy thick hair and i've spent way too much time and money to see all my hair in the sink cause i stopped caring for it... i'd cry a river!!!

I'm a creature of habit and caring for my hair *properly* is a habit for me now especially since joining LHCF. :yep:

I would hope so. However you never know what will happen. Sometimes life gets complicated and you start ignoring things that you once found very important.

Learning proper haircare techniques are never forgotten. It's like riding a bike, you may not do it anymore, but you know how to ride the bike. Even if I was no longer a member of this broad, I will always know the proper way to take care of my hair and incorporate it in my life forever.

This is for life. That's why I refuse to get there on ps alone, because I know that's not something I can keep up forever. I have learned styles that I feel confident wearing forever and are low manip.

My regimen is so easy, no way I can fall away from it. Setting these goals and changing the way I do me and my daughters hair has been great, if it's not broke, no need to fix it! Long healthy hair for life!
