I am 17:baby2: lol and i was thinking that might be a little strange and there might not be many users my age. I wanted to know if there are any High school or college students what school do you all go to, what your reggies and staple products are etc...lets be LHCF buddies Just looking for some company on the board

i'm 20. go to georgetown. almost all natural =)

i cowash when i want, wash when i feel
moisturize, seal, add some gel to the front and wet bun.

thats basically it

staples: ORS creamy aloe shampoo, gvp detangler, avocado butter, eco styler olive gel

i am still looking for a staple leave-in/moisturizer. today i tried ion moisturize treatment hair masque (or something like that) lol

wow Georgetown great school...thanks for the reply sounds nice and simple like something even i can keep up with lol

Just turned 21 last month! I feel so underage here, though. I don't know what it is, but I always feel like a kid on these forums, even if there are plenty of members around my age! I guess I just act immature OTI. :baby2:

And I'm enlisted. But I do technically go to college too. ;P

I will be attending Qunnipiac University in the fall woot woot lol i guess im not really in school right now because i go to Elisabeth Irwin in NYC and seniors dont have classes in the spring...we do internships:yep::yep:

idk if i really have a regimen but this is what im trying to do
-wash every two weeks
-deep condition overnight with Motions Moisture Plus every time i wash
-moisturize 2x daily with my new product that i cant remember the name of but it's Dark and Lovely
-staple styles-twist/braidouts, WNG, buns

hey all

i'm 19.
i go to dalhousie, which is a university in canada :]]

i stretch my relaxers for 6-9 months.
i use braids & weaves to help me stretch.

when i'm braided or weaved up, i deep condition once a week.
when i'm letting it all hang out, i deep condition twice a week.
i always shampoo before i deep condition.
i don't usually like cowashing.

shampoo - elasta qp creme conditioning shampoo
deep conditioner - ntm daily deep conditioner
moisturizer - ntm silk touch/elasta qp mango butter (ends)
seal with - jojoba oil

i like to keep it simple.

sorry to be such a dummy but what does ntm stand for?lol i was just thinking i might try doing some braids but idk yet

im 20 too :)
im natural with a TWA and i just use wave nouveau finishing lotion everyday and wash with a mixture of water and baking soda as my shampoo and use HHLTR as my conditioner and DC with silicone mix. im looking to try way more dominican products though so i will be adding to my reggie. i also sometimes prepoo (when i need protein) with egg and EVOO

I'm 19. I go to University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am newly natural (as it says in my signature). I currently dont have a regimen set just yet since I'm not use to having all natural hair. I do love ApHogee, HE, JASON and VO5 products though.

And I actually think a good portion of LHCF is around college age. Hopefully they'll be a lot more people to add on to this roll call b/c I'm curious to see what school everyone goes. (ANY TAR HEELS???? GO HEELS!!!!)

Hey I'm 20 :)

I go to the University of Michigan. My reggie is pretty simple. I co-wash 3-4 days a week, detangle with coconut oil once week and shampoo bi-weekly. I'm currently co-washing with CON Moisture Extreme and shampooing with CON Green label. I apply Silk Elements Leave in and either wet bun or braid 1-4 braids for a braidout.

Hi! ^_^ I'm 18. freshman in college
And I'm always open to meeting new ppl, specially around my age. I go to school in upstate NY.

My reggie.
Well I'm 4b/a-ish? transistioning?? i suppose (I texlaxed once..it didn't really take and then changed my mind and decided not to do it again since (last august)...so i'm processed yet...lol) I don't plan to cut it since it's almost the same as my natural hair. I just won't tex again or anytime soon.lol
I wash weekly.
I'm currently experimenting since I realized my dorm has hard water so.
I'm incorporating ACV rinses starting tonight (Conditioner's sitting in my head =])
I dc before I shampoo to save time and shower trips.

I'm still figuring out styles. Prolly doing a braidout for tomorrow (yikes it's 1am and I still have to wash x.x)

im 20 =)
i go to Temple U
I usually get a dominican blowout every 3 weeks (wash after 2 weeks, then blowdry and style my hair for a week)
it works for me and is the easiest for me to maintain while in school, theres no manipulation during the 2 weeks, since my hair holds up well from the Dominicans. Ive been getting alot of growth doing this.

In the summers I cowash and do wet styles

ntm stands for neutrogena triple moisture, not a dumb question at all.

i'm 4'11 too.
and i have a baby face.

i have heard good things about your products and plan to try some of them thanks

Some of my favorites have been.....

Mane N Tail Detangler
Suave Hemuctant Shampoo and Conditioner
Mane N Tail Shampoo and Deep Conditioner
Pantene Beautiful Lengths Moisturizing Leave In Cream for Split End Prevention
Ouidad Double Detangler Comb

...seriously those products......lovelovelovelove.

wow that is soo cool...i know what you mean i think im going to feel like a kid forever and most ppl agree because im 4'11" and look young

Wow, I'm 4'11" and baby-faced too! And, to top it off, I even have a very high pitched voice.....basically I look and sound like a 12 year old. I get jokes on it all the time. >.<

hmm i wonder if this would work for me...im scared because most ppl make heat sound like the devil and i have worked too hard lol

hmm i have heard so much about mane n tail...do you think it's necessary to use a detangler...you may have already said but im slow so what's your hair type...i think im like a 3c and i just detangle in the shower with lots of cheapie conditioner and then if i want to comb it when its dry i just apply some moisturizer:look:
i think i might try the pantene i have never used their products

I think I'm a 3b or c. But I'm still "transitioning". I don't use the Mane N Tail detangler leave in conditioner when I use Suave Hemuctant (my cowash condish) because it's just sooooo amazing on my hair. It's seriously so silk and nourished afterward. However, I've been deep conditioning with Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner and after I use it, I do need to use some of the M&T leave in. I'm probably buying a new DC tomorrow, btw, lol.

I use Pantene sometimes. I know a lot of people supposedly are anti-Pantene, but for me the products I've tried, have been nothing but blessings! ESPECIALLY the leave in cream for split ends. LOVE.
