i toy with the idea of transitioning to natural frequently. it’s the wash days and detangling that throws me off track. i recently bought paul mitchell: the conditioner leave in and my hair feels like butter even though i’m almost 3 months post relaxer (i'm 11 weeks today). paul couldn’t have done it without abba pure moisture shampoo, alter ego garlic conditioner, aubrey organics rosa mosqueta and jane carter nourish and shine! who knows when or if i’ll relax again. just gonna ride it out.

just had to share.

any other reviews of paul mitchell the conditioner?

I have the dettangler not not this one! I will check it out and pray for the same results. Thanks for sharing!

i adore paul mitchell super skinny line. I am nearly 6 months post and = just used it to blow dry and flat iron after taking out a sew in. It was a complete breeze and it got my hair relaxer straight which really surprised me. makes me want to buy their products exclusively. Ill try out the detangler. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for this tip! I think I'll try these product combos next month.

Gotta go to Sally's to get the detangler and leave in conditioner! I'm such a pJ!! Although I can honestly say that I need a detangler and a leave in!

The Conditioner - is literally, The Conditioner. It's fabbo. I've known about this for years. The ingredients are great. Sally's version is really good, too.

I have it and LOVE it!! I use it pretty much whenever I'm wearing my hair straightened though, it makes my hair feel crunchy sometimes when I air-dry using it.

I haven't tried this one, I have been using the detangler for years, I buy it when it is two for 20 (the liter bottles) about one or twice a year. I have two bottles under the coutner now! Will have to try this one soon.

I havent tried The Conditioner but this thread is making me want to.....I use the PM Super Skinny serum to seal and it gives instant slip

I've never tried but my friend who is BSL natural uses the Paul Mitchell line pretty much exclusively.

I'm sorry, BlessedandLucky, I thought you knew, Mami'! The Detangler is another sure thing, too. The Sally's version is okay, too.

Have you tried Dominican Cons? Salerm 21 leave-in is a sure shot. (I'm just making sure you're in the know, lol)

I have the detangler but it doesn't really detangling me all that great. I'm relaxed if that matters. How do you use the detangler.

Do you use the skinny serum for air drying, before applying heat, etc?

I have this leave-in but haven't had much luck with it. I will try it again to see if it works better now.

What is the super skinny line supposed to do?

I use the detangler on wet hair in the shower under running water. I have never used it on dry hair. I have natural hair. HTH

Paul Mitchell The conditioner is my all time favorite moisturizer. I've used it for years.

I always have great results when rollersetting and using Super Skinny serum.

I don't think I've tried a PM product I didn't like.

I got the GVP version from Sally's and it didnt really wow but I read that its great as a shaving gel so im been using it for that ever since but maybe I need to give it another try.

ok..ok.ok!

since i can no longer find skala products anymore....i will try this and the GVP version...as one of my three conditioners in my stash...

The Dollar Tree has a knock of version of the Paul Mitchell leave in for $1. I have not tried the regular Paul Mitchell leave in or the Sally's knock off so I can't give a comparison. I did use the Dollar Tree knock off yesterday to do my two strand twists and I like it.

My twists look better, less frizz, are tight and have more hang then usual. It was a good combination with the loc butter.

bump

i used the conditioner to do a chunky braid out...OMG!! i couldnt believe how good my hair felt. it felt buttery soft! two days later it's still soft and shiny. and you really dont need a lot cause this stuff foams up.
