Hi all,

First of all thanks to this board, i wouldn't have made it without you ladies.
just wanted to post few pictures of my progress.
I am natural, i have fine hair but have (used to have ) lots of it.
in November 2010 i suffered from a bad post partum shedding, i lost lots of hair (density wise). my edges went bald and my hair was sparse all over.
this is my progress so far.

i did use megatek for a month, and at least once a week i will massage my scalp with a garlic and onion oil (leave for an hour and rinse).
thanks

Great well done. How long have you had the thin edges? My mum has had hers for nearly 30 years. Seeing as she has just started a healthy hair journey. I wonder if megatek would work on my mum.

since November, but my edges always been very fragile, always first to disappear! now i just leave them alone!

You have had tremendous growth/regrowth and results. You should be very happy.

Forget your length... (which is impressive BTW)...it is your edges that grabbed my attention. They have filled in beautifully!

Now I must go back and read what you did--and if you haven't already shared, please do tell!!!

Congratulations!

This is what I'm wondering too. My mother also has thin edges and has had them for several years (which I think comes from relaxing her hair).

thanks you all!

regarding my edges:
for a month i have used megatek ( i got lazy:perplexed), i do manipulate them very gently, just leave them alone!

my hair regimen:

i prepoo with aloe vera juice mixed with BFH desert drench and a mix of ceramides oil.
i wash once a week with no sulfate shampoo
Dc weekly with heat.
rarely use direct heat
Henna every 6 wks ( or when i remember)
spray my hair every 2 days with BFH desert drench
from december to now i have already trimmed 3 times:perplexed, because i am recovering from being a scissors happy person!(please hide scissors from me!!:nono:)
i have been wearing twist out most of the time, but now i want to try full protective style, since i can bun now:grin:.

hope this help
