What is your ultimate hair goal?

Ill be honest, I just want my hair healthy. Im tired of seeing it on my pillow or on my clothes. My hair growing comes with the deal so nothing past waist length. I dont wanna have to wrap my hair around my neck when I go pee.

I just want SL. I have no interest in constantly wearing my hair up or in protective styles for the rest of my life. And if i'm natural, I won't even consider dealing with THAT much shrinkage.

To be honest I would like to grow it out as long as possible at first. Having come here to the forum I'm gathering healthy hair practices for me and my daughters. Wanna see where we end up when I apply what has been and is being taught. But I know out of sheer practicality I will cut mine to something manageable due to having 3 girls.

Hmmm.....My ultimate goal is healthy, thick hair that grows to its terminal length, which hopefully isn't shorter than tbl.

Whew! The very thought of that is so exciting and definitely an encouragement to remain committed to this HHJ.

Thick full MBL. Even relaxed my hair still shrinks a good 3 inches. So if I'm MBL I should look like really full APL / BSL all the time .

Full BSL/MBL which I believe is the same thing for me. I love how WL looks but I don't think I could deal with that much hair. We'll see if hairexia gets the best of me once I reach my goal though.

I've been near TBL but I cut 9 inches in a year. Now, I will not cut my hair for the next 5-6 years. I want to see how long it will grow.

Waist length. I'm currently a little past mbl Some days it looks like I only have about 2 inches left. Other days it looks like I have 5.

Wow!!! :spinning:
You have never considered letting you hair grow just to see what is your terminal lenght??
(But, yes: I assume TBL is a lot of work!!)
@Naturelie

It's not so much a lot of work for me (because I'm a huge believer of protective styles - which can last me a whole week). I'm just ready for a new look to go with my weight loss. I'm still going to have a good amount of length.

Recently finding out that the back of my hair can reach waist length changed my goal. My new one is to have near WL hair that is all one length. No layers!

Healthy hair/scalp all the time using all natural products/practices. I think I'm pretty much there but I have to cement it this year to make sure it has longevity.

This changes almost daily for me!
Orignally it was -relaxed- full bsl (not layered) then it was back bsl & front being mostly bangs... only less mullet-y. :yep:
Now I think I want to transition at some point in my hhj and be -natural- bsl unstretched.
Long as it's healthy and the process makes me smile, I'm good! And that's no easy feat since hair frustartion is what led to my BC last year.
