Trader Joe's Nourish Spa conditioner-->Change of ingredients

This conditioner has been sold out at my local Trader Joe's for weeks, but I was finally able to repurchase it today. I notice they had the old bottles as well as a redesigned bottle.

The ingredients are different on the new bottles  I bought 2 of the old ones because I wasn't taking any chances.

Has anyone tried the conditioner with the new ingredients? Can you tell the difference?

I saw it in Trader Joes yesterday, I didnt buy it because I'm currently Ps'n. There were no older bottles in sight either. The new bottle looks way different.

Is it a PEG or Copolyol (water soluble)?

We got a TJ's on Valentine's Day. I've only seen the Nourish Spa on the shelf once. Didn't know people would clear the shelves.

I went to the closest TJ's and grabbed a bottle, they all looked the same so I took one home to compare.
The ingredients were the same, but the print seemed slightly different. I breathed a sigh of relief lol.

These might just be the old formula but I won't stress until I see the formula change and it no longer works for me.
I have high hopes that it will still work, at least that's what I'm telling myself since it is the one product I can't live without!

I just called my local TJ and the woman said the packaging changed but not the ingredients. She said they are sent information about packaging and ingredient changes for all products, and for this product only packaging changes have occurred.

3/24 Update: I just went to TJ and the ingredients were indeed different. Another curly haired person (3c) was complaining to customer service when I approached and the suggestion was that we write/call TJ corporate. I just feel hurt over this. This was my HG product.

I should've taken pics, but I made a point to compare the ingredients and they were indeed different

Sadly, they were indeed different. And the woman I spoke to the other day and who confirmed the ingredients were the same turned red as she discovered today she was in error. I could've driven out the other day and bought back up bottles but for this bad intel.:nono:

Does anyone know if the ingredients for TJ's Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner have changed as well ... I was told that the slip was great on this one and it was great for detangling, similar to the Nourish Spa ... I'm hoping they didn't add silicones to this one too like they did the Nourish Spa ...

Why mess up a good thing? :nono:

HOw is the Nourish Spa SHAMPOO??? Any naturals tried this?? ...

It's not very gentle, in fact I'd say it's borderline harsh. My hair feels somewhat stripped when using it.

I agree that it is harsh; I only use it myself after I have straightened using silicone products. Or for crazy times, like when my kids get paint in their hair. :look:

ETA: I was still able to find the conditioner with the old formula yesterday.

Mines is still the same no (cones) I stocked up 2 weeks ago. I use the shampoo when I want clean hair without clarifying. Otherwise I use CON argan oil.

Will you please post the ingredients? You can take a pic, if that's easier.

first one is the original and the second is the new. The ingredient list is definitely longer on the new. And the lack of organic ingredients is sad too.
I'm contemplating returning bc of the cone

The Trader Joes in Short Pump in Richmond, VA still has the original formula. The shampoo bottle did look different though. I bought 8 bottles of conditioner. :look:

Wowwwww! I mean, the product was already affordably cheap to begin with, so how much more money are they looking to make off of this conditioner by further cheapening the ingredients and taking away the organic content?

What is the point of adding a silicone? Nourish Spa used to be a staple conditioner of mine, and although I rarely use it now, I appreciated the fact that it was locally available should I need it.

One TJ's I went to had all new formula. The other had the old formula and some new. I stocked up on the old because it's my go to cowash conditioner. I purchased one new formula just to try it. Sigh

:lachen:  Dang, I'm from Richmond! I tears Whole Foods, TJs, & Elwood Thompsons up when I'm home visiting from NYC. Why do companies keep messing with a good thing?:nono: TJs only repackages products that are by other vendors so maybe they changed the formulation and if thats the case TJs had no say.

I never cared for this conditioner. I orginally bought two, last year. I tried as a rinse out, cowash, leave-in...:nono: I have one bottle left, that I think I have used twice. I am sad for those who love it, and they changed it on you :(
