Shea moisture African Water Mint Shampoo
This is the only shampoo I've been reaching for. Fresh, cool scalp, soft clean hair.

APB Hair Lotion
This was all I used after I washed and DCed. No oil, no cream, no LOC, just the lotion. Hair was very, very soft, pliable, and not greasy.

Rose Hip Oil
This has been an EXCELLENT facial moisturizer, wow. Sorry I'm late to the party. Going to try a little in my hair.

Just Emergencee. Is Polymedic the good one/old formula???

I have no idea because I've never used them before. I just see two of 'em floating around - one says Polymedic Emergency and has a big P on the label, and the other just says Emergencee. The ingredients are also different, where the Emergencee has cones, but the Polymedic doesn't and also has elastin. I'm confused.

@PJaye Im thinking of getting the Bekura Whipped Custard cos of your praises, what scent do you normally get?

Im not a big lemon person so I I'm thinking of Fig Julep..hope that doesn't smell all plant-y

Unfortunately, the scents I like have been discontinued, with my favorites being the apricot colada and pineapple ginger. However, the lemon beignet smells a lot like pound cake; and the muscovado has a light, nutty, sugary aroma. Both of those are pretty decent. I honestly didn't care for the fig julep at all. I opened the jar, took a whiff, cringed, took another snoot full just to make sure, cringed again, quickly put the lid back on, placed it in a box and mailed it to my sister. To me, it had a strong spicy tone to it that turned me off, but my sister didn't mind it. I have a refrigerator drawer full of the discontinued ones to keep me content. On the flip side, just in case, Sdotbeauty makes a body cream that looks and performs exactly like the Whipped Custard. You can find it here: http://sdotbeauty.com/products/body-velvet-decadent-whipped-body-treat. My favorite scent is paradise because it smells like fruit (I prefer fruits rather than baked goods). I hope this has helped.

Emergencee is more concentrated and can be used in a couple minutes. Polymedic needs heat to be effective. It gets hard.

Yeah Emergencee definitely is more concentrated. The one tiny tube covered all my ends with a little to spare at the end.
But my box doesn't show any cones in it as far as the ingredients so now I'm wondering if it's the old or new formula...

I don't think the original had cones. It was just concentrated sticky like protein. It was great because it was thick (think of honey) and was good for 2-3 uses. Polymedic is not as viscous and has more protein, but needs heat. It also lasted longer. It's a matter of preference, but I like both.

As I Am Cleansing Pudding - hated it.
My hair felt stripped and tangled although I had just detangled with Soultanicals Knot Sauce (rinsed out).
I ended up washing a second time with my Chagrin Valley shampoo bar.

I will try it once more and if it doesn't work my sister is getting it in her Christmas box of products I don't like or want.

L'Oreal Total Repair Damage Erase Balm conditioner mask- This product held up to it's claim. My hair felt a little stronger and smoother after one use. What I loved most about it is that you only had to leave it one for a 3 minutes. It has enough slip that you can work it through your hair and massage it in. I plan to use this weekly and do a midweek moisture DC just to keep things balanced.

I love this stuff!

Hit - Co-wash my twists with SM Purification Masque mixed with Betonite clay, Burdock root, Nettle leaf and Triphala tea
I got a clean scalp with no root webbing and soft, springy twists. My twis-touts were super defined this week with no gel. The Amla in Triphala enhances curls.
Miss - SM Purification Masque is discontinued; I used the last jar in my stash:cry:

I'm sorry I didn't see this post sooner, but I just bought 4 jars of the SM PM from their site. They had it at 30% off over the weekend. Maybe they'll do it again closer to Christmas.

Komaza protein treatment.

Man, listen. This stuff right HERE!! Shout out to Tasia @Saludable84 for talking me into trying it. I have THE most protein sensitive hair on the planet so I was nervous using this treatment. I clarified with ORS creamy aloe and then followed the instructions on the bottle. When I initially applied it, I got scared...like REAL scared. My hair instantly froze and felt weird. This stuff locked my cuticles DOWN. I applied it thoroughly and let it sit for 30 minutes. When I rinsed, my hair still felt so strange. It felt slippery and coated? I don't know how to describe it, but I was really scared. I then followed up with my SM Superfruit Mask and topped it with YAM. I DCed for nearly 2 hours and rinsed. My hair felt like butter. I was shocked. My hair still feels like butter. My hair has never felt better. I now see the benefit of using the RIGHT protein treatment for natural hair. I love the SSI okra, but it is a bit too light.

A little goes a long way, so I see this bottle lasting me a while, especially since I won't use it often (probably once every 8 weeks). This is my new staple protein reconstructor. For those who have LP hair and are hesitant to try a stronger protein, try this one. It really is amazing.

Im glad it worked out well. We have the pickiest hair. I hate the aloe because it seals the cuticles a lot leaving that coated feel, but my hair has been really good since. If you regularly use shampoo, you wont have to worry about adverse reactions from the aloe.
