What's Up With Beyoncé?

Girl! Coming from a Haitian background, this don't look right and is dangerous for her fans. They will start researching and dabbling in the unknown and get themselves in beaucoup trouble...

People are posting information that are misleading and glorifying these deities. However, when these things are worshipped, there is always some form of sacrifice and/or payment.. let me stop babbling .

Without the blood of Jesus...

I love her. I am happy for her.

But her pregnancy announcement and her performance at the grammys did not sit well with me. The symbolism and imagery. And I am not usually sensitive about such things.

Am I the only one?
Hello @Farida, I know she is a polarizing person, and I might get in 'trouble' for saying this, but I genuinely thought that it was clear [to Christians] that Beyonce is a tool in the devil's hands - unwittingly or otherwise is for her to know!

I didn't watch the performance, but I saw the pictures, and the ones of her pregnancy announcement. For years, her image has been pointing to a decline into darkness, and this is just a continuation. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul? We should pray that God's light will shine on her heart, and that He will set her free from bondage. We should also pray for the vulnerable souls who are likely to be seduced by the devil.

God bless you - rejoice that He is sensitizing you!

I am African and we have witchcraft and so my mom has always warned me about dabbling in weird stuff.

People worship Bey in the sense of blind obsession which is common with famous folk...but now she is including worship symbolism and themes.

I am also African, though I was born and raised in the US. All of that stuff about african religions, yoruba, voodoo, witchcraft---all of that stuff is creepy to me. People here see a different side of it and I have been trying to see the beauty of it because I love Beyonce, but your post reminded me... I grew up hearing the creepy stories, one story where they believe my aunt was kidnapped by a witch so that they could cut her up and use her for nefarious reasons.

These things were never looked on as good. Witches were real and scary. Even when I read African mythological stories growing up, I never was interested in worshipping them or being like them. There was always a twist. I've never been able to explore African religions because of these fears. And I never knew until recently that Jesus was more powerful than these witches and demons.

I've been trying to see the beauty in Beys pics and performances, but my initial thoughts were that she is creepy.

I got this vibe from her when she did that HBO lemonade show.. my spirit was troubled and I could not watch all of it.. I felt unknown spiritualism and God led me to turn from it
Just wanted to say I experienced the same thing when lemonade came out. For years now, I have been literally unable to listen to her music. I didn't watch the Grammy's but the imagery she puts forth is disturbing.

I agree and as a Beyoncé fan it is so hard for me to think that's she's being used by Satan. But watching Lemonade was very disturbing and did not sit right with me. Her descent into darkness is becoming very clear with every subsequent performance and imagery she puts out.

I'm worried about how all of this is going to affect Blue and her future children. I'm also curious about what Ms. Tina thinks or if she's in on it too...

The thoughts and perspectives in this thread are very interesting! I tried to watch her Grammy performance and left the room after 60 seconds. It was too much. Over the top and I always scratch my head. I get it gays she's an entertainer but she has evolved into something that seems SO disconnected to her fans instead of connected. She has become more of a mystery than personable.

Like when was the last time she did an interview and talked about her music?!?!

I know Prince didn't do many interviews and was a mystery but I always felt like What he gave his fans was genuine.

^ yeah I feel like she's trying to emulate all the entertainers that she enjoyed watching/listening to growing up (Michael Jackson, maybe Prince, etc) but she's not staying true to herself in the process, IMO.

While I can appreciate her creativity and the artistic thought that she is putting into her performances, I just can't get down with what she's promoting spiritually.
