Tasia, I could NOT make that work for my hair. The slip is unbelievable but I cannot use it as a leave-in. My hair airdried so dry and dull-looking, almost like I didn't use anything at all. I don't know what it is that my hair hated but I had to leave it alone. Same results with the Mango Dip.

I agree with @IDareT'sHair. When she has sales on her salon-sizes (not often, but she does have them occasionally), you could grab some then.

Miss:
Honey Handmade's Honey and Kokum DC. So I love the smell, it has decent slip, and it felt amazing in my hair. Once I rinsed, it was like I had used nothing at all; however, I feel as though it would work well for someone else whose hair isn't as course and lo-po as mine.

Miss:
Honey Handmade's Shipping situation. Got my shipping notice but it didn't ship for nearly 10 days o_O

Revisited Hit:
Jessicurl Too Shea. I hadn't used this in a while but I was looking for a protein-free leave-in to use when rollersetting. Great slip, it makes my hair super shiny and soft. I'm glad that I decided to revisit this gem.

Girl, I gave away the mango dip. It was good but dried my hair out overtime.

I think with the KS the liter would be better, but @IDareT'sHair if I get a liter and the consistency is off, I will have to find someone.

Pureology Colour Fanatic Hair Treatment Spray with 21 Benefits

After having such a good experience with Pureology's Hydrating Shampoo, this leave-in conditioner was a big disappointment. It made my hair feel so dry that I was tempted to hop back into the shower and start over....

Miss: SM changing their hair coloring system. The box is generic and ugly now and you no longer get the 3 sample size raw shea butter products. I'm bout sick of them messing with stuff. The product better be the same or somebody getting punched

Guess I'm holding onto my one box until I'm sure I want to colour again >.> Why does shea moisture change things? Haven't they learned from the purification masque fiasco?

Please let us know if the color works the same.
It still works the same. My color is nice and vibrant. No weird odor and most importantly...no change in ingredients. My hair responded the way it always does. I just hate that they changed the box and took out the travel products. I did however like the hi-po mask that was included (was actually 2 packets not 1). I have 2 jars in my stash that I got on clearance for like $5 each so I'm happy it wasn't something crappy like the manuka or jbco masks.

APB Keratin Protein Treatment

This conditioner has a creamy, slippery consistency and I was able to fully detangle with ease within minutes due to the excellent slip that it provided. The scent is nondescript in that it's sugary and very faint. I applied the product to my hair and let it do its thing for an extended period of time under a cap without heat. Upon rinsing, my hair felt ridiculously good - it was ultra soft, extremely moisturized and emollient! This was the outcome I was expecting when I used the UCS. The only con I can assign this product is, given its ingredients, it didn't provide me with any discernible strength. However, I'm not complaining because I thoroughly enjoyed my results. For me, this is a definite hit because emolliency is hard to find in a DC.

Miss Jessie's Super Sweetback and Rapid Recovery Treatments
I did a side-by-side comparison of these two products during one DC session. Both are thick and creamy, and applied very well. Since I didn't detangle post-application, I cannot attest to their ability to provide slip. I let both DCs sit for an extended period of time without heat. Upon rinsing, both left my hair feeling moisturized and silky soft. However, the Rapid Recovery side had a bit more silkiness to its softness. These are both keepers.

Mielle Avocado Moisturizing Hair Milk
This product has a somewhat thin, creamy consistency and seemed to offer a decent amount of slip. It applied well while giving very good softness and long-lasting moisture. I had no complaints whatsoever and was pleasantly surprised.

APB Cupucu Avocado Daily Moisturizer
This product has a thick, creamy consistency that applies very well. I've used this product in a multitude of ways: (1) leave-in on freshly washed hair; (2) refresher/moisturizer on dampened hair; and (3) refresher/moisturizer on dry hair. No matter how I use it, I always receive stellar results - soft, shiny, highly moisturized, juicy (I said juicy!) hair that lasts for days. It also gives a ridiculous amount of definition when used for braid-outs. I am this close to declaring it as my replacement for the discontinued PBN Sapote Lotion; I just need to see how it measures up against the CRN Milk first.

Misses:

The Mane Choice Soft As Can Be 3-In-1 Revitalize & Refresh Conditioner
This product is thick, creamy and appears emollient because it applied well and seemed to be moisturizing. However, the next day my hair was looked dull and felt dry.

The Mane Choice Doesn't Get Much Butter Than This
This product has a consistency of a thick, smooth grease. It applied well while offering a bit of shine and softness; but once my hair had fully dried, it left behind a waxy coating that required a good scrubbing to remove.

Keravada Creme Brulee Moisture Rich Curl Enhancing Hair Butter
Despite its creamy, seemingly emollient appearance and ingredient listing, this product didn't perform very well. It gave no moisture or softness during application, and once my hair had fully dried, it made my hair hard and puffy.

Inhasi Aloe Hibiscus Leave-in Conditioner & Detangler
This product has a thin, lotion-y consistency. It applied well and offered a bit of softness, but no slip at all. When my hair had fully dried, it was not very moisturized and the softness had dissamapeared.

APB Moisturizing Hair Lotion
This product is thick and creamy, and applies very well by giving good softness and moisture. However, once my hair has fully dried, it becomes stiff and rough albeit still moisturized.

CRN The Leave-in Collection
- Latte
This product has a thin, creamy consistency, and applies very light and insubstantial - it felt as if I hadn't put anything on my hair. Once my hair had fully dried, it felt a tad soft, but under-moisturized.
- Honey
While this product felt more substantial during application given its honey-like consistency, it was also very greasy and sticky, which made application difficult. Even worse, when my hair had fully dried, it was puffy, frizzy, dry and un-moisturized.
- Herbal Tea
This is a thin, light oil that didn't appear to do much of anything. It just sat there and made my hair feel greasy and dry.

Meh:

Miche Lush Deep Conditioner

This product has a nice creamy consistency and provided me with a bit of slip. However, upon rinsing my hair was underwhelmed; it just felt like meh. This is not a repurchase.

I sent an email inquiry to the Mane Choice about my scissors and never heard back, so I called them and the lady said that she would call me back.

I've heard nothing. I don't like anything from her line, so it is not a big deal to never give her another dime but I don't appreciate being ignored. Even though I got them at half price, for $25 I expect them to work but because you want them branded with your purple, it messes with the functionality.

If by some miracle they call me back, I will update my post.

Good!! I may still pick up 1 or 2 just incase they change the formulation!

NEW HIT:

Bekura Vanilla Whiskey Restoring Hair Soak - I love how it feels on my hair and even after washing it out, my hair was still soft and a little strengthened. Plus those ingredients are on point.

On The fence:

Bask & Bloom Brahmi Root Hair Masque - this is strengthening but it did not feel good going on. It is still on my hair at the moment and the real test will be when I wash it out. I'll see how it feels then and report back.

NG Chamomile and Burdock

Miss:
NG Chamomile and Burdock. This stuff is really good on my hair. However, it just doesn't last me more than barely 2 washes anymore. At first I thought I was heavy handed. I was getting 3.5 uses during this time. The it went down to 3. Then 2.5. And now, barely 2 wash days. It might be the texture, but it takes a bit to coat my hair and by the time I'm done, a 16oz jar is more than half gone. It's a good product, but not cost effective for me. Will use that and my herbal Blends up (same story) and that's it. Not a repurchase anymore.

Cont'd Hit:

Bekura Tonga Mousse Leave-in Conditioner. I used this today instead of the Bekura Palm Tapioca. I don't care for it on wet hair so I will be using the Tonga Mousse on damp to dry hair instead.

CD's black vanilla DC. This stuff is awesome. Now I see why folks love it so much. Provided great mositure and shine to my hair.

It's the only product that was reformulated and still worked well for me. I don't think she played with it too much, but Tui got a complete makeover and I've never seen it again :look:
