I’ve been using sulfur oil to massage my scalp so it’s time to get that foolishness out of my hair. The smell is terrible. So today I will:

-prepoo and finger detangle with coconut oil
-shampoo with ApHogee Green Tea and Keratin (new, hope it’s good)
-thinking of doing a green tea rinse, haven’t done one in forever
-DC with ORS hair mayo and Hairveda Avosoya
-apply KCKT or Trader Joe’s to detangle in the shower (if needed, sometimes ORS makes my hair kinda hard)
-seal with Hairveda Avosoya and twist to let it dry overnight

I’ll be wearing two large flat twists pinned up for at least the next week or so while I do the inversion method

Tomorrow, I'm going to DC with moisture (probably Alikay Naturals Avocado Cream) and follow with clay- or I may switch up that order. Then I'll use some DIY ayur-shea butter and finish with diluted KCCC.

ETA: Pre-treat with Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Extreme, topped with infused oil (kalpi tone and heenara) and more castor oil on ends. I also randomly snipped some more hair today. In some spots, I recognise I have about 3 inches that need to go. But it so hard to let them go.

I really want to clean my hair tomorrow but I am still not 100%, not even 80% well enough to wet my hair. I will just add some shea butter on my hair strands and CP growth oil to my scalp and call it a weekend.

Plus it's a little cold here now by what I call cold in the Bahamas - low 60s by the way and that's really cold here okay. I ain't wettin' my hurr in this weather - nuh-uh! :nono:.

@IDareT'sHair

:yep: I was expecting to be feeling good enough this weekend to try making and using some SB stuff but since I'm not and I just ordered some herbs from Monteray Bay Spice store, I will wait for them to get here and give it a go then.

There's more than one reason not to rush it. So I'll just wait it out. I don't want to, but I have to.

I used yesterday's snow day as my wash day. I did the following with my hair still in plaits:

Pre-poo: Coconut oil, aloe vera, CP oil
Shampoo: Briogeo Silk Indulgence (low Ph)
Conditioner: Bask& Bloom Brahmi DC (steam allows this conditioner to work a lot better than just body heat)

I sealed with Tea rinse, Oyin Hair Dew, and my shea mix. Then I re-plaited my hair.

I took down my last set of beehive braids this morning, and went straight to the salon lol. I would have given my hair some time to breathe, but it was full of product build-up anyway. While there, I had a peppermint scalp detox treatment, then a wash with that detox shampoo and a moisturizing shampoo, then a steam treatment with an argan oil deep conditioner in my hair.

After that, they put in a creamy leave in and heat protectant, blow dried my hair, and put it back into a beehive. I plan to keep this set in for at least 5 weeks, since I'll be interviewing next week, going to Europe the week after, then starting this semester's classes the week after that lol

Simple, easy and quick wash day. My hair was so soft, no tangles and just a little bit a shedding. Good wash day.

Feeling a bit under the weather so I'm keeping it simple with a dry DC using SM manuka honey mask. Once it soaks in I'll use QB AOHC and some whipped butter to seal. Before I had to wash my hair every week to keep my hair moisturized and to keep my scalp happy. Now that I use products that actually moisturize my hair and have been consistent with ayurvedic scalp massages, I can stretch to every two weeks without a problem.

Refining my 2018 regimen, since I decided to add acupuncture of the scalp.

Today will:
- Take pictures to mark my starting point. Had my first scalp acupuncture treatment on Friday night. Next one, tomorrow night.

- Test out a product from Curls & Potions Chebe Gloss. If I like it, I need to consider making it because it's too costly to buy for what I think is roughly two treatments in a jar.

- Nice DC. Haven't decided what to do. Kinda need a protein so might use a lighter product then wash again on Wednesday since this is a travel week.
