Feb 16 17 18 What Are Your Weekend Hair Plans?

I've recently discovered what just may be my HG wash-and-go gel, so this weekend I'll be seeing how it does when paired with the moisturizing cream from the same line.

To detangle, I'll use whatever prudent combination of the Magic Star Jumbo Rake, KareCo Tangle Buster Brush, and/or the Kent 16t seamless comb.

Off the twist break; back to wash and goes (or, in this case, wash and went). I undid 27 twists, nearly 3 weeks old, with a little neem oil, running water, and the Thick n Curly Tangle Teezer. Ignoring the number of times I had to stop and remove gobs of sheds, I got done in under 90 minutes, whew. One last oil rinse with Castor Shea Oil and I was done. I think my scalp is relieved.

Dealt with my hair today and it was almost a nightmare since I haven't washed in so long. I shampooed and conditioned in the shower with Shea Moisture JBCO, conditioned with Aussie 3 min moist (to help with detangling), and then Tshirt dried. After that I sprayed Just for me detangler all of my head and detangled with my wetbrush. I then blow dried in sections.

I'm debating on stopping by the salon for them to flat iron my hair and give me a light trim.

Skipped the scalp exfoliating.

Notes on results: Putting the moisturizer beneath the gel did not pan out for my hair. *sniffle* The gel alone works best for my hair.

After all that time and effort, I'm in a puff. *sniffle*

Yay for a three day weekend! Black Panther has me feeling VERY black and I’m dying to wear my Wrap Life headwrap but not while I’ve still got this sulfur on my scalp soooo...

-finger detangle with coconut oil in four sections
-shampoo with whatever I have on hand
-treat with bekura vanilla whiskey
-EDIT-
-two large flat twists on wet hair with Camille Rose Cocoa Nibs oil and Trader Joe’s Hair Mask (ugh) on the ends overnight, then tomorrow morning I will:
-dc with bekura cacao bark while doing housework
-comb and finger detangle with KKKT in six sections
-two to five flat twists
-seal with Shea butter and Trader Joe’s Hair Mask with oil on ends
-air dry

And wear my wrap alllll weekend

Tonight I made a henna treatment, cassia treatment, and the curlyproverbz henna strengthening tea. I'm currently prepooing overnight with the Chicoro PrePoo method.

Sunday Wash Day
PrePoo: Chicoro PrePoo (overnight, using only AVJ and EVOO)
Shampoo: Jakaela Shampoo Bar
Treatment: Henna (for 3 hours)
DC: Mielle Organics Babassu conditioner with oils added
Cuticle Smoother: ACV Rinse
Leave-ins (LOC): CP Strengthening Hair Tea/Castor Oil or Shea Butter/Qhemet Biologics Cocoa Tree Detangler
Style: twists pinned up to wear under u-part wig

My plans:

- Onion juice prepoo
- Cassia gloss
- As I Am cleansing cream
- CP tea
- Protein DC - probably try my new Komaza dc

So, I fell asleep with my cassia gloss on (I normally leave it on for an hour tops). Woo-wee, my hair feels extra strong. This time, I used melted Shea butter in the gloss. Love it! It seems to fix my issue of not having time for hot oil treatments.

I’ve focused my CP tea on my hair and yes, it feels quite strengthened. It’s in a spray bottle. Wondering if I added raw honey to the tea, if that would boost the moisturize power?
