Took advantage of my day off due to the wind and did the following:

Shampoo: Mane Choice Easy on the Curls Detangling Hydration Shampoo (first time using and I really like it)
DC: Mane Choice Green Tea & Carrot Deep Strengthening & Restorative Mask
Moisturize: Komaza Coconut Curl Damage Control, Komaza Califia Moisturizing Cream + seal with Blue Magic hair grease

The plan is to phony pony it up for the week.

I only did a quick detox with Nairobi Detox Shampoo followed up with Cetaphil Baby Shampoo and co-rinsed with SSI Peach Conditioner.

My hair detangled super easily this morning. I plait it up in two and wearing my wig for the day since I have some errands to run.

On the Grow and Keeping it Simple
Sometime this weekend:

  1. Take down twists ,Overnight oil prepoo, and Scalp Exfoliation
  2. Diluted shampoo
  3. Heat cap DC
  4. Scalp Toner, Leave in, Shea butter blend, pomade
  5. Retwist
  6. Band twists
This is what I actually ended up doing.

I don't know how people do mini twists. It took me 1.5 hours just to complete 20 medium twists. Maybe I take too much time applying product, smoothing, and detangling... Yeah, thats probably it.

Hey ladies! So today and yesterday I wore my wig, despite the crazy wind out here. It’s time to wash and dc but I won’t have much time tomorrow so tonight I will:
-shampoo with whatever I have on hand
-apply bekura vanilla whiskey with heat for 20 minutes
-rinse, then air dry in big twists overnight
-apply bekura cocoa bark under a plastic cap and wear a beanie to work with my bangs as leave out
-when I get home, finger detangle with kinky curly knot today
-flat twist with shea butter for my wig again

Ughh it's only March and I done lost my hair mojo! I have to psyche myself up to do the things that are necessary for my hair to thrive! A weekly DC is all it takes for my hair to be good but I fell off the wagon bout 2 weeks ago and now I'm dragging!
Off to complete round 1. Wash, detangle & DC.

I moisturized with the last bit of my SSI Marula Hemp Hair Cream, no back ups at the moment but it is a definite repurchase item. I love this cream. I sealed it in with my special Shea Butter blend.
