2019 Vitamin Challenge

With silica, make sure you're drinking plenty of water because it is a diuretic. I think MSM did make me feel weird, but I don't remember very well. I know I have an almost full bottle in my cabinet, which usually means something was amiss.
I think I will put them on hold and observe myself. It was giving me the long detailed dreams though which I kind of liked.

On a happy hair journey
I would like to join! I just took my vitamins today.

1.) Your current length and the length you hope the vitamins will help you achieve (or other goal that you wish to achieve)?
I'm currently at shoulder length and hope to make it APL by the end of 2019.

2.) Any of the vitamins or supplements you're using for the health of your hair (or body in general)?
GNC Women's Ultra Mega multivitamin and Citracal Maximum for vitamin D and calcium. I may add biotin, MSM, and fish oil later, but I wanted to start out with the two most important ones to make it a habit before I added more stuff and just wasted it. I absolutely hate taking vitamins!!

3.) How long you intend to take the vitamins for?
The whole year.

Hey y'all! I'm joining this challenge too!

1.) Your current length and the length you hope the vitamins will help you achieve (or other goal that you wish to achieve)

Currently APL in the front, grazing BSL the back.
By the end of 2019, I'd like to be BSL in the front and MBL in the back!
I will be adding a photo every month to document my health and length retention.

2.) Any of the vitamins or supplements you're using for the health of your hair (or body in general)

Garden of Life Raw One Women's Multivitamin with Probiotics.
Comprehensive vitamin for breast health, reproductive health, bone strength, energy, heart health, and hair/skin health.
I'd also like to incorporate a green powder and vegan Omega supplement, but I want to form a good habit with the multivitamin first.

3.) How long you intend to take the vitamins for?

I intend to take this vitamin daily for the entire year, and hopefully beyond assuming there will be no adverse complications.

I took a deep breath and repurchased this, but the ish is expensive! I will have to reduce the daily amount so that it lasts for eight weeks rather than four. It is very very effective though, the last time I took this consistently the difference in my hair was so noticeable, so I will swallow the cost.

Already had my green smoothie, containing my elixir and flaxseed and will drink another glass this evening. Took my SBH supps also.

Took vits today, but went easy:
prenatal
MSM
Viviscal
Fish Oil

I also have a nightly bamboo tea routine going.

The 4 month supply of Phytophanere arrived. I had good results last time I used it. It will join the queue behind Manetabolism, but before Nioxin Recharging Complex, all after the current Viviscal is done. Think I'm done buying vits for a while. :blush2:

Got some of mine in already and about to take the rest now...My hair loves MSM so I will be ordering this one every month and taking 3-5,000 mg of it per day.

@Lita,

Yes I do take the powder but only in my smoothies. Otherwise I take capsules. I have the Jarrow Formulas brand currently but looking into getting Doctor's Best next - 1,500mg capsules with OPTIMSM.
