2019 Vitamin Challenge

It's discouraging that my shedding hasn't stopped. I slacked a little today.

Afternoon:

1 Viviscal
1 Amazing Greens
1/2 dose prenatal
1 MSM
1 Vit D.

Would it help if you added lemon?
I tried that and it was definitely better, but still not enough of a motivator. For some reason I just rarely feel thirsty, so it's just a matter of forcing myself to drink no matter what.

Are you going to quit the collagen? I've gained a few and I am not sure of the source, but I'll allow it up to 5lbs.

Here's a thread on Hair Supplement Ingredients if anyone is interested.
https://longhaircareforum.com/threa...-growth-supplements-ingredient-thread.710505/

I make morning and evening vitamin packs, so I don't have to take time each day to gather them or remember which ones I took. I make the packs up monthly using small 2.75" x 4.25" plastic ziplock bags. You can use smaller size bags, I only use this size because I found a large quantity for a really good price at Michael's. (Bags used for jewelry findings.)

I haven’t been posting, but I’ve been taking my vitamins. I really can’t stand the liquid multivitamin. So I haven’t been taking it. Or the liquid chlorophyll :lachen: but I have been taking my vit c+collagen peptides.

Welcome! Do you mind sharing the ingredients of the multivitamins you are using, or the name so that we can see what is in there. Wouldn't want to recommend a specific hair vitamin, without knowing what you are currently taking. Taking double to triple the amount of vitamins that you are already getting is not recommended, since most hair vitamins are multivitamins in their own right.

I have read that some vitamins and supplements are best absorbed with food, while others absorb best on an empty stomach. Also taking vitamins at different times means it is in your system more than once throughout a given day and may increase how much it is absorbed. Most of the vitamins we take are eliminated as waste, so taking them at different times may increase how much they are absorbed. If I am wrong, i am sure someone more knowledgeable will correct me or give more insight.

For your nape, I would suggest keeping it separated from the rest of your hair to eliminate stress to that area.

Thank you for replying to me @Soaring Eagle !

I am a big fan of Manetabolism. The only con for me is that it give me a lot of acne.

I think Manetabolism alone would be enough to help with thickness.

I’m going to combine this with the wig challenge.

1- My current length is shoulder length. I love to be at BSL by 2020. It’s a little ambitious but it doesn’t hurt to try.

2- I will take 10,000 mcg of liquid biotin and Neocell collagen.

3- I will take my supplements indefinitely.
