Looking Presentable/cute While Dcing On The Go

this is something that I’ve never quite figured out, so I thought I would ask.

Scenario:
Let’s say your in the middle of wash day or you are stretching your hair in Celie braids but you have to go to an unexpected event or just leave your house.

How do you guys manage to get it together and look presentable ? Does this change by season/how cold it is? (I don’t own any wigs unfortunately, so other ideas would be helpful)

A few scarves as others have mentioned.

I also have a big Rasta beanie that a friend made for me. Absolutely love that thing, for when I’m having to go to class, or pick up a shift at work, but I’m already deep into a deep conditioning sesh.

It looks like scarves and beanies are the consensus. I know I can wear beanies in the winter, but do you guys wear head wraps in the winter as well?

Yes:) . You can always switch up the scarf colour palette.

That’s true! I guess you can cover your ears with wraps (I never thought of that). I think head wraps are so pretty/classy.

ETA: what kinds of head gear do you guys have to hide bad hair days in professional settings?

I've been known to "Lunch" or run errands under a Slap Cap and Plastic Bag. Bold Make Up, Lippie Sunglasses and Earrings usually can get the job done until I can get home and finish up.

I've only done this in the Fall and have never experimented with Scarves or other "cute" head gear in a Professional setting.

I always cover or partially cover my ears with my headscarves I wear out. 'Ears out' doesn't suit me and makes me look like a pirate:lol:.

I've never worn them to work, or in a professional setting but if they dont mind head coverings, I imagine going for a plain scarf rather than patterned would help.

I don’t know why “ears out” is cracking me up :lachen:. You have inspired me to start investing in headwraps.

This sounds like a LOOK. So cute.
