Uniqurl Aloe leave in and styler. Very moisturizing. Slip when applying and next day hair is soft. I'd like to try it on naked hair to compare straight after washing but very nice. My hair hates coconut and aloe but this doesnt feel hard or brittle at all.

The middle hair of my head is extra fragile, I need to stop parting my hair down the middle. Its very thin in that spot. :(

Good to know about Uniqurl's L-I.

I wish you woulda' gotten the DC'er so we could compare notes.:(

I have the Leave-In too. If you continue to get good results, I might be sending that one your way. :look: (probably won't use).

Keep me posted.:yep:

I will, you know im leery because of the ingredients, so I'll try it a few more times. The LI was on sale for $10 so I scooped it up. I think shes coming out with something else soon @IDareT'sHair

I have been experimenting with many shampoos the last few weeks.

HIT:
Aussie miracle curls shampoo & Tresemme flawless curls shampoo: Cleanses without stripping, I can detangle with both these shampoos. They almost feel like co-washing with suds.
Cream of nature argan oil of Morocco shampoo: Very gentle cleanser that I can partially finger detangle with easily. I may have a slight allergy from it or something, because my eyes tear up each time I use it :( Is it still a HIT? not sure lol

MISS:
Tresemme boutanique nourish and replenish shampoo: Made my strands feel rough and very weirdly dry. I did not like this shampoo at all.
Garnier whole blends avocado/shea butter shampoo & Garnier whole blends honey treasures shampoo: They gave me the same result, slightly drying, cleanse well but it was nothing special.
Camille Rose Natural Curl Love Milk: Has great slip, smells very nice, a little bit goes a long way, very moisturizing. It left my strands coated and icky. I could not stand it on, and I washed my hair asap.
Camille Rose curl maker: I wanted this to work so bad. But it did not. it was epic fail as WNG. It had great slip, and it applied like a dream for a gel. HOWEVER, It did not last even one day, and NC weather won the battle of humidity vs curl definition. It left my strands coated as well.
Wet extreme line gel: It did not blow my mind. Too crunchy for my liking. It did not do much for frizz even though I got nice clumps with it. I might retry this a second time just to make sure.

If you have any drugstore shampoos you think are worth trial, let me know!

Hit x 10: Mielle Organics Protein Free DC

Originally, I wasn't sure if I liked this DC, but after four uses - I am hooked. I still have a little over half the jar bc this product truly goes a long way (I always mix it with Canola Oil as well). This was definitely worth $20. It has some kind of detangling property and truly hydrates my hair (my hair always coils up so much with this product, and my ends no longer felt strawlike from the coconut oil I used today). It also stops breakage from dehydration.

Miss: Coconut Oil

My hair can only tolerate coconut oil in well-formulated products. I’ve always known this, but wanted to revisit it as a part of my prepoo process. Mistake. The AC was on and I think it hardened the oil in my hair, defeating the purpose of reducing breakage/protein loss. I’ll stick to oils I know my hair likes.

PJN Hibiscus/Fenugreek Leave in conditioner and Cocoa/Kalahari Flaxseed Buttercream

Moist, soft, touchable hair the next day. Smells nice too. The spots I made the braids too big in are a little damp, so I know the definition will poof eventually but overall I give them a 10!:toocool:
