Half my hair is deep conditioning (the back half) and covered in a silk cap (grace eleye) the front half has been detangled and styled and is currently being banded/stretched.

I haven't gotten around to fully detangling the back, so I will do that today or tomorrow, and steam it and put it into twists and then baggie it back up.- protective styling for a while.

Today, I'm also looking for curly clip ins for the back as well.

Thinking of a master plan.

Hydrate some fenugreek tonight.

  • Bentonite Clay wash Saturday afternoon mixed with ACV and warm water
  • followed by Hydrated Fenugreek steamed in
  • followed by Curl Origin honey/Hibiscus More Moisture Please Deep conditioner
  • followed by a leave in to air dry overnight , Curl Origin Whipped Cream
Depending on if my hair is super curly, Im going to just draw it back into a low bun. I hate detangling my hairs to stretch when they are super boingy.

If so, next week will be bun week.

Don't worry be happy
Just finished. A bit longer than I would have liked but still pleasant:

Overnight scalp pre-poo with methi tea as the base with brahmi and bhingraj (sp?) powder

Henna with blended seeds from methi tea olive oil and amla

Homemade banana dc

Finger detangle and twisted with flax gel and mango butter mix.

Next week should be shorter as I plan to henna gloss so hopefully I wont need to DC after...

Finally washed DD's flat iron job out!
Wash: TMC Cheers
DC:
Styled her curls in a wash n go.
Leavein: Mielle Honey Pomegranate Camille Rose: Curlaid
Eco styler Olive Oil
No obvious heat damage but there is a definite odor of chems! Smells like perm but I cant prove it. I had my eye on the hairdresser the whole time. She went from the shampoo bowl to the stylists chair. What type of Dominican pelo malo voodoo is this??
Her curls are in tact but that lye smell is overwhelming. I really wonder what they put in her hair??

I realize if my hair gives me a hard time it is because I'm using the WRONG type of products....

PrePoo: Briogeo Be Gentle Be Kind cowash
Wash: Alikay's Moisturizing Black Soap shampoo --- I will always repurchase this!
Deep condition with Miche's Strengthen Protein Deep Conditioner
Style:
Qhemet's Moringa Tree Conditioning Ghee is the "L"
Qhemet's Coconut & Green Tea Softening Serum is the "O"
Qhemet's Burdock Root Butter Cream is the "C"

Camille Rose's Aloe Whipped butter gel.

My hair seems to like what others have problems with: Glycerin, Aloe, Coconut Oil....

My hair also likes Moringa so since I have straight Moringa oil I will use that this week to refresh as needed.

How do you like the Irish moss styling cream? @Shadow_Lace

I love it! It's very moisturizing!

The scent is light.
There's no Coconut oil (so no skin irritation for me), or Shea butter; however, there is Cupuacu butter, and Irish Moss is the 2nd ingredient.

It has a light to medium hold. A little goes a long way with this 1!

Don't be heavy-handed (like I was 1x!), it will leave residue if you do!

It can be used on wet, damp or dry hair for me. But, I'm medium porosity so...

I used it to refresh some frizzier ends (this morning), and the application was smooth.

I trimmed my ends, while my hair is still straight from last week's flat-iron session. I'm enjoying my straight hair, but I know I will need to moisturize it soon. I'm not ready to wash my hair yet.
