Girl I was coming in here to post JMonique's Naturals but I see you already have that one covered,. I sure miss that one. I also miss Silk Dreams.

Is anyone here still talking about Wetline Xtreme Gel? I hear they repackaged it and it looks like there may even be a reformulation back to the original gel that actually worked. The ingredient 'carbomer' I believe is back to being the third ingredient just like the original formula. I think they felt the pinch from lack of sales when they moved the carbomer further down the ingredient list. I bought a small jar of the newest formula gel and will leave a review once I test it out.

@IDareT'sHair

I would add to your list:

It's so random, but I found a can of Isoplus hair spray at Ross today. I bought it for nostalgia's sake. Your list is awesome. My only contribution is Skala shampoo/conditioner. I remember when I was shopping every Big Lots in the city for that stuff lol Oh and Yes to Carrots! I miss that conditioner.

Your list is very extensive! Those three items reminded me of the whole "Dominican" products era. I'd add Alter Ego Garlic Mask to that list.

I don't hear much on:

Mane and Tail
ORS/Organic Root Stimulator
All those Herbal Essence conditioners
VO5 and Suave

Just 4 Me (childhood)
Just for meeee... J-U-S-T F-O-R M-E!

I haven't permed my hair in 25 years and even longer that I last used Just For Me. I so wanted to have hair like the girls on the box but my thin/fine hair ended up lifeless and breaking and my scalp got burned. I can still remember how it smelled and some days just think of how I would like to smell it again.

Copa. Debbie Allen is forever persona non grata to me.

Garnier Fructis.

Giovanni Direct Leave in. Back in the late 90's/early 2000's it seemed like everybody was raving about it. Bought it, used it, and it turned my hair white with flakes. A few months ago, I saw it in the health food store and thought I'd give it another go... It's still expensive trash.

Mousse/styling foam, in general. They had a big moment. L'Oreal Studio fix, Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam used to be holy grail for me but then Dove started coming coming out with them and they were cheaper. Elasta QP and Jane Carter were also very popular.

Oh my goodness you brought back so many memories with this list. Its funny I brought some Infusium 23 leave in a couple months back, because I remember it being so good for my hair when I was relaxed. I remember calling my cousin and telling her I brought it and she was like "Woah you took it way back" lol. Sometimes I use it on its own but most of the time I mix it with aloe vera, or chagrin valley natural's detangling hair tea. It stops breakage on its tracks. Maybe I need to revisit some of the oldies but goodies.

I'm going to add a few more to the list:

Hydratherma Naturals
Kinky Curly (Kimmaytube's leave in conditioner recipe was so popular and worked really good for my hair)
Cantu

I added some Infusium 23 to my homemade leave-in the other day. I think I like it again. I wonder if there's a difference between the original formula sold at Sally's and the pink or purple bottles sold at Walmart. Adding to my list: the Roux vials - I still use those. I'm on my last bottle of GVP Silk Remedy (the original yellow/gold colored formula). I haven't found a replacement :-(

When I first found the forums all anyone talked about was

LUST deep conditioner
Original CON shampoos,
ORS relaxer and creamy aloe shampoo
DDTA
V05 Strawberry and Cream conditioner
Pantene Relaxed & Natural Line (the original one)
Elasta QP Mango butter
Oyin Handmade
Silicon Mix
Lustrasilk Olive Oil Cholesterol

Honorable mention to Sunsilk and Skala. I know they were discontinued but they had the girls in a chokehold when then came out
