@Evolving78 I've used the gold, orange and bronze from Hair Paint Wax. Easy to use, easy to wash out.

You inspired me to pick up some colored wax while I was shopping. All I could find was the As I Am brand. The purple I tried in the past was so light and metallic. It wound up looking almost silver. This time I tried something that looked brighter. I tried the green one.

Ignore my face. I just like the way the colored part looked when swept over.

How are you applying it so that it doesn’t way your hair down more than the non waxed colored portions?

I think the hair gods have been listening to me. Both Trepadora and Innersense are coming out with foaming mousses. I’ll wait for the Trepadora one to hit the states before entertaining it. The shipping will have me disappointed.

Supposedly, the Innersense one has the most hold of all Innersense products. They even talk about pairing it with creams and gels. This makes me so excited. A no buildup styling foam with great hold is all I ever wanted. I’m probably going to pair it with their ICV and maybe even their hair spray.

So how did this style go after a weeks time? Did it expand or lift where you wanted it to? Also, did you get a chance to refresh with the sangria yet?
It wore well. I don’t quite get the lift where I wanted it. I may need to add some bobby pins for that.

I made a half hearted attempt with the Sangria yesterday. I think for it to work I would need to dedicate some real time. I don’t think my hair was wet enough to really reclump my frizz. But I didn’t want to get my hair super wet because I was heading into the office and I didn’t want it to dry crazy. I need to try it on a day when I plan to stay at home.

What foams do you use now? I’m a foam girl! I like the mousse/foam to be thick and provide a lot of shine! My hair is highly dense in certain areas, so I need a foam that will work well all around. Nairobi seems to be the best for me so far.

I like that color on you!!

I haven’t gotten any yet.. I’m itching to buy some, but my budget told me to go sit down somewhere! Lol It’s on my list to buy this month.

I think I cracked the code on Adwoa's gel. It says use on sopping wet hair but I think that for my hair it just slides right off. I did wet hair, adding water as needed and got the results I've been looking for. Nice to have a one and done product when I don't mind using smaller sections.
How long does it last? Can it hold up to sweaty workouts?

I tried a new product combination and it may be a hit!!!
I washed with Harm Me Knot and then I washed with Ladies First. That left my hair super soft. Then I conditioned with Goddess Strength (new favorite conditioner   ) and detangled with my FLW and my KISS detangling brush.

The new style combo? Leave-in Condish with Big Poppa on top of Coily Custard!!!

This is next day hair after sleeping on it while it was still damp.

I'll report back after my cycle class on Monday

So my hair survived. It looks and feels like it typically does at day 5, little frizzy but still defined and holding it's shape. I could rock a puff for the next day or so but my doux mousse is coming today and I want to use it. I will say if you're looking for a 7 day set this probably won't be your jam.

Hi ladies!!!!! I miss you all!!

I haven’t done a wash and go in forever. This little baby is kicking my butt, but I love him.

I’m trying to wash my hair twice a week and failing sometimes at washing it once a week…

I’m getting a blow out on Friday because I’m in a wedding next month and don’t have a hairstylist. Cross your fingers for me. Apparently everyone on his Instagram page has tape in extensions. I thought everyone just had long hair!!!

here is my hair today:

Your hair has really grown!!! I went back to see your pictures and wow!

Yes, I think my ends desperately need a trim, but I’ll probably do it myself when I get back from the salon. Don’t want anyone cutting my hair right now.

I’m itching to put that bleach in my hair again, but I don’t want to deal with the aftermath. I would need to get a good deep conditioner and that protein/moisture balance is another thing I don’t want to be bothered with. The Just For Me slime gets foamy when you add water. I like that. It has a nice hold.

My fingernail is better so I raked my hair thoroughly for this wash. I really like my results with raking, I’m done with the mostly smoothing technique.

I have my staple stylers, I have my technique down. I just need to find a new black owned AP shampoo and for my hair to get longer.
