My Home Is Near the Santiago Fires

I am asking you all for prayer tonight. I am going around now taking pictures of everything in the house for insurance purpose and my husband and I are determining what should be taken and what will be left behind.

I need prayer y'all. I am trying to get past the fact that someone set the fire in this area. I was at church tonight for the 40 Days of Purpose kick off and some were not there because they were either evacuated or being evacuated.

Some people have already lost their homes. It is going to be along night we are watching for evacuation announcements.

I got you up in prayer. Last night on the News I saw how those houses were burning and I just started praying for everyone.

Everything will be alright. All last night while I was asleep I kept hearing in my spirit that "Everything that was stolen from you will be returned to you 100 fold." Praise God and trust in Lord.

I've been praying for you since the moment I saw your post. I pray that all is well. I thought of this...

Remember when God instructed the children of Isreal to apply the 'blood of the Lamb' to their door posts, and that the spirit of death would 'Passover' them. That's my prayer for you. Not that I deem anyone else's home to be destroyed nor harm, for my prayers are for all. Yet, my prayer is that this disaster shall bypass you and your husband, family, loved ones and your home. In Jesus' name, Amen and Amen.

Does my prayer make sense? I hope so dearest one. For I only want God's saving mercies to be upon you and yours and all others.

Please keep us aware and updated, dear heart. God bless you. :heart2:

God is able. He can. He will. He is.

There is nothing more to it. We pray that God is able to do above and beyond all that you could ever hope to ask or expect.

I want to thank you all for your prayers. I have been at my church the last 4 days working the relief effort.

Our church was the staging area for the firefighters and for the evacuation victims in our area and some from San Diego.

It has been an incredible scene here, people have been coming to help or asking to help from all over the US.

Our church sent out about 1,000 volunteers this morning to clean up in some of the neighborhoods that had the fire back up into their yards.

We fed at least 300-400 people in the last few days and was able to send remaining food to some of the food banks in the area because their supplies had been depleted. Some of the evacuees came in for clothing and other supplies and what was left we sent to shelters that could use the clothing and other items.

About 100 people from our church left this morning to go down to San Diego and help the neighborhood churches who were impacted by the fire.

I am really exhausted but I know it was for a good cause. I am happy to say that a marine layer has settle in the area, it is cold and we are getting a little drizzle. Thank God! We have a long way to go in recovery, one of the hardest hit areas we could not get into which is where the homes were burned so our church is trying to see if we can get some type of housing for these families and help them with the clean up effort once they are allowed back into their area.

As soon as I finish a few more things on the computer I am going to go take a loooong bath and get some much needed rest.

Again, thank you all for your prayers and words of comfort.
