So, I went out with my friend yesterday to help her celebrate her birthday. We went out to dinner and then they wanted to go to the casino.
So, I am like, "okay, whatever. It's her birthday, I just won't gamble."
So we are walking around window-shopping. Then she wants to go to this club, so we go. I am sitting up in there like a fish out of water. You know how people that come to church and don't praise God, well that is how I was in this club. The music, the atmosphere, my spirit was grieved. I said one or two things to God, like, "God, I don't want to be in this crazy place."
I was just sitting down watching people, not dancing or anything, not bobbing my head cause my spirit doesn't mesh well in these environments. I am very selective about what I listen to and the way the people were dancing and acting kinda made me sick to my stomach.
So, I am sitting there and out of no where this glass comes flying towards me. It was a couple of inches from where my foot was. This lady saw it to and we both looked like, "erplexed." Where did that come from? Then being human we are trying to rationalize where it came from and she said, "Maybe the vibration from the table made it fall off." I'm like, "Oh, ok." But I felt that it was more because there wasn't any glass on my table that I can remember and if that was the case, why didn't the other glasses move?
I high tailed my butt out of there and told my friend I would be sitting up stairs in a lounge area. It just played soft mellow music, there was no one dancing but it just had sofas with pillows and big comfy chairs. There were few people and people up there were more sophisticated and mature. Anyway, that was an experience I learned from and the things I used to do, I don't even want to do anymore.
