CURLFORMERS!

:yay:

Ok, so I will admit I was a little (okay a lotta) skeptical on how these things would work on MY hair type...

Cause Southern Tease n' nem got that silky smooth type of hair...so I was :ohwell: on how the Curlformers would work on MY hair.

So, I had money to burn and I bought them any way...

The results were nothing short of amazing.

(Sorry for being all dramatical, but I am shocked)

Yes, I did say dramatical.

Enough of that..here are the pics:

Before:

Great! I love seeing them on natural hair! I really want to try them after seeing them on your natural type4. I was :ohwell:, too because everybody that I have seen have a different hair type than mine. I am relaxed, but deeply texlaxed and my hair is NOT silky smooth! LOL

thanks for shariing. I really want to try them now.

I wonder what all of the Sally's across the country are thinking. Curlformers must be selling like crazy!

Oh yeah..

I forgot to add..

I put some CHI Silk Infusion on my whole head prior and used Fantasia IC Sparklelites Gel (clear) on each piece. I also make sure my hair was soaking wet before I slid it into the Curlformer.

I JUST saw Curlformers mentioned Thursday in a thread in the OT forum and came here to the hairboard to see what all the jazz was about. I watched the video of the girl on youtube but it was a little fuzzy.

I wanted them for my daughter. She has no curl definition but her hair straightens if I put her in Bantu knots so I was thinking of trying them.

But then I looked at the Curlformer's Remorse thread and the type 3s touting their benefits and whatnot and thinking that welllllllll, it might not work.

But WOW!!! I'm a believer. Rollersetting is sooooooo much work with all her hair and I never get the roots straight enough.

OMG!!!! I'm going to have to try these. Lord knows I don't need to spend any money on these things but her dance recital is coming up in June and I want to straighten it with these before pulling it into the bun that she'll probably have to wear.

Wow. Just wow!!

wow! where did you buy them? are they easier to use than flexi-rods?

At Sally's.

I have never used flexirods before, so I can't answer.

My hair was dry in an hour and they were super easy to use, once you get the hang of it... :yep:

wow :wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow:

Ditto to the nth degree what she said!!! I'm going to have to put this on my to do list to get these. Wait till I show my husband. Cuz I'm so jelly that he can rollerset my baby's hair better than me.

6.

I needed 7, but next time I will just put some flat twists in the front and I should be cool!

I have only three packs and that cost me about 47 dollars. I guess four more will cost me over 50. I'll just get 10 packs for the hell of it. I'll try mine in two weeks

Now why the hell did you have to do this? I was proud of myself b/c I just left Sally's without them things today. I saw that little pack and I was like "10.99?!" But now....I mean, you're hair turned out soo well, it looks really really good. So I'll ask one more time "Why. did. you. do. it?"

How awesome!!!

I was at :drunk:Sally's today - and UM - in California they are 12.99 a pop - so - wow - they are even more expensive - the sad part is that they know that 5 rollers won't do the job.

I gotta get a job - cause I gotta get some of these!!!!

WOW!
