oh no.... I wish I could

my friend did it

Oh! Ok:grin: I read you said something about "you" doing the install. I was about to ask your technique. I know putting a sew-in on your own head would take some serious skills. I was about to ask your technique!! LOL. Cool. Glad you got so much NG!

Great growth! Did you get any damage? What was your regimen? I'm asking because I just got my first sew-in yesterday. I'm currently 8 weeks post and want to stretch 4-8 weeks more.

I was also 8 weeks post when I got my sew in. I used ORS herbal cleanse to clean my scalp weekly

I also used BT but I wasn't dilligent, I would do it when I remembered.

I did wash my hair once. After about 4 weeks I felt like the herbal cleanse wasn't cutting it and I really wanted to feel water running through my hair.

I really tried to keep my hair moisturized. As far as I can see I have no damage. Before the sew-in I noticed my napre nad broken off on the left side..... I feel new growth there now.... I need to continue babying that area.

That's alot of growth!:yep:
I did a search some time ago, on how long you should wait before relaxing your hair after you take down a sew in and everyone said two weeks so a couple days really might not be enough...just though I would share!

hey girl....you never told me which part of Dominica you're from

as for the sew ins I used to relax the day after with no problems.... I'm just trying to do it right this time. Most people here say 5days to 1 week is cool.
