The brand is "Salon Professional" and the bottles are really pretty. Kind of like Paul Mitchell bottles with a splash of color. At just a dollar each I had to scoop the following:

Deep Replenishing Conditioner - compare to Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm

Leave-in Moisturizing Conditioner - compare to Paul Mitchell The conditioner leave-in

Ultimate Moisturizing Conditioner - compare to Nexxus Humectress

So take a gander at the ingredients and how they compare to the originals below and let's discuss! I figure, even if they're nothing like the originals, the ingredients are darned good for a buck.

Son uses the Nexxus version along with the real Nexxus, I don't find them as good, kinda thinned out, but they are decent for his hair, his curls form much better with the real nexxus which provides extra moisture.

But this is a great deal for the price, his hair is still soft, smells great, just not as heavy as I would like.

I have these! I bought them several months ago. I wanted to buy ALLLllllll the bottles they had on the shelf :lachen: but DH said why not just get one of each and try them out, then return to get more. When I've gone back to buy more, they had NONE LEFT :cry3:

I didn't get the Humectress one, but I got the other two and they worked GREAT. You cannot beat the price with a baseball bat, and the quality is awesome. Now, I've never bought the pricey original versions :nono: as I am pathologically cheap and I have a lot of hair to attend to. I'd go broke! So I can only compare to other knockoffs of the same products :lachen: but I  these products.

I have seen them at my Dollar Tree but I'm kind of wary about using them so depending on the reviews, I'll might get the humectress

the GVP version of the conditioning balm is a staple of mine, and i was recently able to get a few bottles of the real stuff for a great price...but since i am in box braids, i haven't been able to compare them. the GVP version of PM the conditioner is also a staple of mine...tried the real version once and they worked about the same, from what i remember....so i am REALLY EXCITED to see these! and for only a dollar?! oh man, i will drive through this blizzard to get to dollar tree!

ok not really, but as soon as it's over...i'm going to every dollar tree in the area to find these!

LadyPaniolo, they had none left?!!! :thud: That's it, back to the store on Monday to pick up several more bottles. I mean, really, it's even a better bargain than my Vo5 faves. I'd hate to find that I like them and then there not be anymore. And now that I've told LHCF :sekret: shoot... :lachen:

LadyP, I was just about to offer to send them to you, but having them locally is soooo much better! :drunk:

Thanks for posting this! I am bored with the VO5 and suaves, this may be good for my conditioner wash days in spring/summer. I go through so much and since these are reportedly thinner than the originally they should lather a little. Will have to give them a try! :yep:

I saw these too a few weeks ago...and I almost decided to try it, but then I put it back for some reason. I was going to get all 3, but then I decided maybe I should try the Humectress knock off. I ended up not getting any at all.

Is anyone else using this? How is it?

OMG. I bought the knockoff PM and Matix a few months ago. I had to resist the urge to buy the entire shelf. They are not as thick as the original, so you have to use more. I used to PM everyday as a moisturizer and pin my hair up. Moisture stays all day. I also rollerset using only the PM and Aphogee green tea and my rollersets come out nice and bouncy. I used the matix as a detangler while in the shower. My $2 was not wasted IMO. I will re-purchase.

I like the PM under my ecostyler gel (it keeps my har it soft)...The nexus is REALLY REALLY thin in consistency...I haven't used the Matrix Biolage knockoff yet....
