:hiya: Happy Valentines Day !!!:heart2:

(Not to take away from Valentines hair posts; this is just a weekly thread for us to share hair plans)

I'll be 28 weeks post. I have a very irritated scalp :burning: :pullhair: from holding onto my flat ironed hair and waiting two weeks to shampoo :nono: . My hair plans are:

Porosity & Moisture Regimen:

  1. Prepoo moisture/dandruff/garlic overnight
  2. Shampoo with Silicon Mix
  3. Detangle w/ Suave and EVOO
  4. DC with Silicon Mix Avanti for one hour..........no heat needed
  5. Towel dry w/o disturbing position of detangled hair
  6. Final rinse with Roux Porosity Control for one minute
  7. Apply Chi Keratin Mist and Silicon Mix leave-in
  8. Airdry in rollerset, flat iron roots
  9. Moisturize as needed with NTM silk touch leave-in and seal with EVCO

What are your hair plans? :gorgeous:

Moisturize and seal...........and maybe a co-wash thrown in there. I just relaxed on Tuesday night.

I'm on my way to Fort Lauderdale for the weekend so some shopping for new hair products may be in order....I'm thinking L'Occitane Aromachologie Repairing Mask, Yes To Carrots Conditioner & Mask and possibly Sebastien Penetraitt Protein Treatment if I can find it.

I just flat ironed my hair, but my bf said we're going salsa dancing and I know it would be a huge poof ball by the end of the night. Sooooo I'll probably get individual braids tonight or tomorrow.

I will be co-washing the 12th and 13th with TJ NourishSpa conditioner (spiked w/amla & maka) or TJ Tea Tree Tingle. I will moisturize, seal, and wet bun every day until valentine's day to have super moisturized hair for my rollerset on the 14th.

I'll be 26 weeks post Friday...Right now I'm doing an Aphogee 2-step in preparation for my relaxer next week. Then I'll DC with Silicon Mix, apply my leave-ins, and air dry in braids.

Last wash was tuesday. I'm trying to wash my hair less so I will try to make it until Saturday. Contemplating cutting it again but I might just dust.

Other than that, pre poo with vatika oil
Shampoo and condition with Mizani Thermasmooth
Rollerset with Lottabody setting lotion

I plan to wear a hat with a side pony (my hair is flat ironed right now) when I go out for drinks with my sis on Friday night.

On Saturday evening, I will pre-poo with heat with my honey, coconut oil, EVOO & shea butter mix on damp hair. Then I will poo using Keracare's Sulfate free Poo. Then I will do a deep con with heat using HE LTR and Keracare Humecto. After rinsing, I will apply Matrix Biolage Leave-in, and maybe try Poka's ponytail rollerset method. If I don't feel like trying that, I'll probably braid overnight for a V-Day  braidout.

Oh, and I will try not to BC. :wallbash:

I will be going to see my dad for the weekend so my weekend plands will be done tonight. I will be shampooing with suave humectant, DC'ing with IC Fantasia Depp penetrating Creme Moisturizer, adding a leave in conditioner, olive oil and a heat protectant. Finally, I will be rollersetting and sitting under my hooded for 45 min.

Going to the salon today actually for a relaxer after 14 weeks post. Wanted to stretch longer, but also wanted a length update and some swang for Valentine's Day .

I think I'm going to keep my hair exactly as it is. Last Friday I got a hearty trim, and a fresh color and it's straight and beautiful. I have 2 full days working tomorrow and saturday, and Sunday I'll just want to chill with my SO. So...i'm going to be hairlazy (and hairdirty) this weekend. ::whimsy shrug::

Sidebar: Sheryl, the "voyeur" in me kinda looks forward to this thread on thursdays now, I like knowin what people are doin with their hair ova tha weekend lol....something's wrong with me.

MOISTURE Regimen

1. Pre-poo with CoCasta Shikakai Oil, EVOO, Avocado Oil and Honey either overnight or for an hour with heat.
2. Wash with Elucence Moisture Benefits Shampoo (2x)
3. Detangle with Trader Joe's Nourish Spa Conditioner or Aussie Moist in 4 sections outside of the shower in front of mirror (Tried doing this outside of the shower for the first time last week and I loss A LOT less hair. Staple "technique" for me now)
4. DC with a mix of L'Occitane Aroma Repairing Shine Mask, 1 vial of Biolage Hydratherapie Cera Repair and a little avocado oil and castor oil. Steam for about 45 mins to an hr.
5. Rinse and then do a final rinse with Porosity Control Conditioner because those cold water rinses in the winter is not a good look for me.
5. Apply leave-ins, then airdry loss or in two braids using the scarf method

I'm going to moisturize my ends with Hydratherma Naturals Daily Moisturizing Growth Lotion and seal them with the little bit of coconut oil that I have left (My husband spilled my 16 oz. jar of coconut oil when he was looking for the tweezers this morning:cry2::cry2::cry2:).

Then I going to undo my twists and wear a twistout on Valentine's Day.

Well while I am hoping that my love and I make up by Sunday, I am going to press my hair straight since he loves it like that. I am wash tonite with CON (orange bottle) deep condition with either Pantene Breakage Defense Mask or Silicon Mix overnight. Detangle in the morning with Suave Humectant and a little Nexxus, apply Giovanni direct leave in, apply IC fantasia heat protectant, and blowdryer and flat iron with my FHI.

I am prepooing with vatika oil overnight and tomorrow I will wash wash with YTCucumbers shampoo, :Copy of 2cool: deep condition with Netrogena triple moisture mask and detangle with NExxus ensure. I am 3 weeks post and already have a considerable amount of new growth. It is really soft though, I dont know what part of my regimen is causing the excellerated growth all of a sudden, but I have bought myself a little journal and keeping up with it. I have a good routine so to speak and I'm going to stick to it until it doesnt work anymore or I need to tweak it.

Well, I've started bunning for the first time this week, and liked it, but since today's my bday, I thought I should do something more festive like a braidout, so there it is!

I kept it simple and used Aubrey organics Island Naturals shampoo, Aubrey organics gpb protein conditioner, an ACV rinse, Hawaiian Silky 14-1, hair butter and sealed with miracle tree oil (it's by a new brand that shall remain nameless but is coming out soon-I was given some test samples at the beauty supply, and yall, it's sooo goood. When it comes out, I can't wait to share, lol!)

Last night I washed with HE Hello Hydration, detangled with VO5 Milk Protein Conditioner deep conditioned with ORS Replenisher Pack, worked in some Cantu Shea Butter Leave In. I then put in some two strand twists using just a small amount of Motions Wrap Foam and my oil mixture (olive, rosemary, peppermint). When I took them out this morning I did so with sweet almond oil on my fingertips. They came out really nice and soft! I'll be wearing this style weekend.

I'm going to wash my hair with Elucence moisture benefits poo and condition with my new purchase Aveeno Nourish & Revitalize, then apply my leave-in Elucence MBC mixed with JBCO and wheatgerm oil then experiment with some cute natural styles like I saw in BMP's thread. :yep:
