I'm here to cosign Miss Jetsetter and Starian. I know some of yall are still trying to get your hands on this stuff, but oh my gawd...Silicon Mix is awesome!!! My hair is silky, bouncy and smells great. This stuff is so good, it almost makes my 4a/3c hair shine...type 4 sisters know how difficult this is to achieve.

I can't stop touching my hair!!!

Sickbay, but they are still out! Haven't been in stock for a couple of weeks now!

A couple of weeks...try over a month  I wonder if they're ever gonna' get anymore in stock????

Most people are getting it from stores that sell dominican products.

Ok, am I the only person who thinks this is not all that?

Probably not....but girl you know how it is when you finally find something that works wonders on your hair :D Admittedly, I'm a PJ, but I've wasted quite a bit of money on things that just don't do a darn thing for my hair.

A short list of stuff I've bought that didn't work: Elasta QP stuff, VO5 and Suave Conditioners, WGO, Sebastians Potion 9, Keracare Humecto, Biolage stuff....I'll stop there, 'cause thinking about the $ is making me wanna

BTW...I think the list of ingredients and benefits of the product are listed in recent threads by Starian and Miss Jetsetter.

I thought I posted this already...

I emailed them a while back and they said it would be in stock in two weeks and they said the same for the products I wanted that were out of stock. The rivas is still out, the products I wanted are in.

So yaaaaaaay the products I wanted are in! I've already placed my order =) Once I try them, and if I like them, and after I place my next order, THEN I'll tell yall! LOL

Has anyone tried any of the other products in this line? I saw the shampoo and leave in the other day. I like the silicon mix, but I haven't bought it because that's what my hairdresser uses on me already. I'm very tempted to try the leave in though

Ya'll better consider taking a trip to NYC and make sure to bring an extra piece of luggage to stock up . The shelves here are overflowing with Silicon Mix and a slew of other dominican products! :yay:

I used the leave in and I like it alot. Make my rollersets come out very nice and soft. You can see the pics of the results of me using it the first time in my fotki. I am going to buy the conditioner in a little while once I get out of work  I am also going out to get the Miel Y Leche Conditioner too.

WOW is all I can say!!! Glossyxlipz, your hair looks AMAZING  . I'm definitely going to try to the leave in combination with conditioner. Your hair is gorgegous...I love the silicone mix pictures--that's my goal.

BTW, Miel Y leche is pretty good too--always leaves my hair feeling silky after I wash. I haven't bought some of that in a while...

Thanks for the review!

For the ladies using the silicon mix......are you having to do a clarifying shampoo more often? I've noticed that I get a lil' build-up when I use products containing cones and have to clarify at least once every two weeks when I usually only had to clarify once a month. I like the silky effects that cone conditioners/serums give, but I'm not too sure about having to clarify so often. :ohwell:

I use A LOT of cones, and I use a clarifying shampoo once a week (works well for me). Cones do cause build up, so for me it's a good idea to clarify my hair often.

Has the price of the Silicon Mix Leave-In gone up,...or is it just me??? I've seen it in my BSS for a while now, on the shelf with the other Dominican products. Today, I see it in the window, and the woman said it was $8. I spent $8 for the big jar of the conditioner--was that always the price? I thought it was more like $5. I feel like I gotta find another BSS that's less accessible
