Anyone do their own Dominican Blowout?

All About Me!
Has anyone here done their own Dominican blowout? I have a Solano dryer, which gets hot as ish and it would be perfect for a blowout. Anyone have any suggestions or instructions on a self-blowout?

Jailbee, for the DR blowout, the password is blowout.

Quick question, webby

Do you oil your hair, before or after you blowout the roots with the dryer (or not at all?)?

I love Webby's instructions of blowouts. Because of her, one day I'll do my own...just don't know when.

After. You don't want to put anything on your hair until AFTER your done with the heat, otherwise your hair is like an egg being fried.

Thanks. I have done really good with the roller sets, but I was too chicken to try a blowout. I'm definitely going to have to try this out though!

Now as for the not puttin anything on your hair till after it is pressed, when you do that doesn;t that make your hair nice and fluffy bouncy?
