I was going to say this.
Shtow that is beautiful. When you were saying you got that look from flexirods I didn't understand the technique~ *if I'm wording that right* When I think flexirods I think spirals but your hair looked like what I get from a rollerset and I was thinking well shyt if she can get that look from flexirods I want to know how~
That's why I pressed so hard for a tutorial. I was expecting a picture tutorial but the video is sweeeeet
Thanks
LOL you were not playing! I said "let me do this before she finds out where I live!" LOL
Yea shtow dont take it down!! When my hair grows out I def. wanna try this..so two years from now I need this to still be up.
Ok, I'll keep it up. I don't like the exposure of yt but I have it set up so only ppl with the link can see it, so only lhcf ladies can see it so long as they don't share the link.
Great tutorial!
Quick question - are you doing this on completely naked hair? I've tried flexirods a few times, but when I finger comb, the curls fall out completely within an hour. There will be a slight bump at the ends, but that's all. No matter how big or small the parts are, it still falls immediately - same with traditional rollersets.

After I flat iron my hair I use a small dollop of the sally's argan oil. I think my style stays because my hair is clean when I do it. If I do it the next day, the curls will not stay, but if I rod it within the same day that I wash, my curls stay until my next wash.
How do you flat iron your hair? The tension method, the chase method with the fine tooth comb?
I blow dry my hair first (with a comb attachement), and then i comb with a small tooth (not the comb chase, the comb, throw comb on the counter method lol). Then I grab the hair section about three inches down from the root and pull it so there is tension, and while I am pulling I flar iron the root so that the roots are straight. Then I pull the iron through a couple of times.
