Okay, I've thought about it...

THE MTG IS WORKING! LOL!

The very back of my head, the hair is almost bra-strap. I can't wait for the rest to catch up, but in time it will.
Well, you don't have pictures of before, pictures of after, pictures period...so....

Candice and Cincy... in the first post where I said "oil water who says you can't mix them?", I meant black hair needs both. It needs water for the moisture and oil to maintain it.

Not together, though... which is where the second "oil and water" comment comes in at. Sorry that was confusing... I can see how it would be.

Webby, where have YOU BEEN! LOL!

Yea, sorry no pics. As soon as I reach my goal, I'm going to be a "feature". Heehee!

I have some pics.
http://public.fotki.com/dawnydawn/october_2005/compare.html

I've learned a lot since I've been here and I want to share anything I with everybody too. So here goes:

I've only been using it for 3 weeks. I got it about a week before my relaxer.
I noticed how much new growth I got in just that week alone.

Anyway I got my hair done on September 23rd and started using it again on the 27th. The second comparison pic was taken on Tuesday Oct 4th.

Tonight I will take picture of my roots.
I understand the skepticism which is exactly why I am taking pictures. Because if I am skeptical too. And if I didnt see the pictures I wouldnt have thought my hair even moved in the last few weeks. Also I see the wavy new roots ... it looks like about 1/2 inch since my relaxer ... and even looking at it, I am wondering if its really new growth or if my hair is just wavy from my last wash... since technically speaking I just got it done.

I'll keep you all updated :)

Good for you keep growing your hair and sharing your joy with others! There are so many pictures of MTG growth pictures floating around here for motivation. I don't doubt some people's hair grows faster than others. I am in braids it has been a little over a month and I have at least 3/4 an inch which is abnormal for me. I could get braids 2-months at a time before and get no noticable growth MTG is a keeper it definately thickened my hair up and grew at least an inch before I Bc'ed.

Let me just clarify, I don't doubt the people experience growth with various products; I've heard wonders about MTG.

HOWEVER, some members here, who recommend products never have a pictures, EVER. It's just difficult to take the word of a persn who never has any proof or anything positive to say about ANYTHING, not just related to hair.

My boss came to my desk and asked if my computer had an electrical short .When I told him it was my hair he shook his head and walked away.. but you know when he sees my hair all grown down to my shoulders in a couple o months he is gonna want to slather some of that MTG on his bald head.

Girl, more to becoming a "feature" than just having long hair! It has to be in great shape as well! If your hair is long, but busted, and broken off...Don't even try to play yourself like that! I think most would agree that having healthy hair is more inportant than having length.

I beg your pardon, MADAM, but are you accusing MOI of having busted and broken off hair?

I'll have YOU know, MADAM, that my tresses are in tip/top condition... most of the time ;)

See, now I really got to get these pictures posted! I will be a FEATURE! I WILL if it's the last thing I do. Heehee!

And in the pictures, I'll be holding a huge canister of MTG!

Can I get an Amen! If ppl want REAL MTG proof then check my album over 2 4 month periods.

A simple I don't know how to post pictures is a lil lame with thousands of members that can help you. I don't have a digital camera but all those in my album is from someone lending me theirs because after so many years on here ppl wanted to see my progress. I at least owed them that. I'm sorry...Um no I'm not...but I'm not buying the testimonial in the 1st post AT ALL. My birthdate was in 1979 not 5th October 2005.

LOL Blosssssom you're a mess!

OT: Does MTG benefit your ends at all? I just trimmed recently and I hate that I had to part with that hair, I don't want to have to trim again any time soon. When was the last time you had to trim or cut? Is your hair growing out even using MTG? If I used it do you think I could make it til May without having to trim again?

You know, I used to be really big on not trimming for 3-4 months, but I have since given that up.

How often you trim really depends on your hair. Some people can go longer without trimming, while others have to trim every 4-6 weeks.

For me, going 3 months was too long. My ends would look ragged by the time that 3 months rolled around. I am now trimming every 8 weeks (2 months), which I have done at the same time I get my touch-up.

I am due for a touch-up in about 2 weeks. I have a TON of new growth thanks to the MTG. I hope I can survive the next two weeks. The MTG also makes my hair more manageable, including the new growth.

I know people want to see pictures and such; maybe some still aren't "believers", but I wouldn't lie to you. I've been a member of this board about 3 years or more, and a lie has never emitted from this keyboard.

If I tell you MTG makes your hair grow, IT DOES!

The board went through an "overhaul" last year, which is why the date has November 2004.

I was a member before the "overhaul"...

K thanks Blossssom. I've pretty much decided that I need to do routine trims, I can't stand for my ends to look a ratty mess.

I simply don't have pics because I'm a broke DOWN college student. I document progress on my cell phone, so when I figure out how to get them from the celly to the puter.. believe me we're in business. I honestly believe pictures are the best thing because it never seems like your hair is growing, but when you look at those pictures.. you're like whoa! look at that growth. So believe me ladies, I'll have em up I promise, give me a minute.

IDK how to upload pics from my cell to my computer either. So if someone does know how, let me know too! I agree pics are the way to see progress, just by eyeballing you'd never know your hair was growing!
