PROGRESS PICTURES + PRODUCT REVIEW!!!! [OVERLOAD]

Hello, just sharing a update!

Beginning of my journey April 09 (neck length)

November/ December 09 cant really remember (bearly shoulder length)

July 2010

After I self-permed (just4me no lye) and Cut Ends (about 1 inch)

I demi-rinsed my hair using Redken EQ Shades Black (only available on ebay)
(beginning)

(end result)

Also, In November, because I was constanly dying the front of my hair that was outside of my sew-in, my hair broke off horribly to a little over 1/2 inch.

This is July now so, thats about 7 mnths.

I really like the Redken Shades EQ Demi-Rinse in Black. It left my hair silky and extremely soft, also gives great shine! My natural color is brown and i have very very very course 4b hair! :)

My overall protective style I used to accumulate growth was partial sew-in weaves. I wore these for 1year and 3 months exactly.

I tried to spray my braids once a week w/ African Royale Braid Spray but i began to get lazy and only was spraying them 1 every 2weeks or so. I also only washed whenever I took an install down which was Once every 2 months.

Tremendous progress from NL. Love your silky black hair, it is gorgeous.

Sorry to hear about the set back, although you recovered very quickly. Your hair grows very fast!

Nice Progress, Good Job. Beautiful hair and bling  It definitely looks silky. I have rinses that I have tried and liked, but I think I may keep that rinse name stored in my memory bank just in case, I Really like your results too.

To the Redken Shades EQ Demi-Rinse in Black:wait, are rinses like cellophanes? Cause I was looking to try one, and I would want one without color, though (and just shine).

OP how did you apply the colour, did you sit under a dryer for the colour to take or did you just leave it on for a while?

i did both. i was trying to put my new tv together so i just put a plastic cap on. then after i was done i sat under my dryer. total time was about 1hr 30mins

Just repeating the question.Sorry that I'm out of it with this, but I have never colored my hair and don't want to. I just want a cellophane. Is that what you did (cellophane versus color)? It's beautiful but I want to clarify. Thanks.

Beautiful hair! I didn't know you could let a demi perm color sit that long. Did you also use the Redken developer or a different brand?
