Last week was my One Year Nappiversary. I BC'd on July 15th 2009 after 17 1/2 months of transitioning.

Here are some comparison pics to show how my hair has changed in that time.

I wash every 4-7 days (sooner if I'm sweaty, dirty whatever) and that's co-washing. DC once or twice a month. I did it more often when I was transitioning.

I use diluted shampoo in a color applicator bottle when my scalp feels icky. I like to add peppermint oil so it makes my scalp tingle. :lick:

Yes, definitely, which is why moisture and sealing is so important for me. I used to do a lot of twistouts during my transition, but I've done less than 10 this whole year. I like the way my wash n go looks so I rarely mess with it and I tend to leave my hair alone for the most part.
