MTG possibly being marketed to humans soon?

Got this from another board:

"Ladies,

I spoke to Cindy Crawford today, the owner of Shapelys and she said she's in the process of manufacturing shapelys for humans as early as next year06. She's working with an expert beautician and said the only problem she may have is with the FDA.

I told her about your progress and she asked if you ladies who are currently using M.T.G. to send her an e-mail [email protected] stating your progress, amount of usage, and if your are mixing it with something, etc (not sure, but maybe she will use your testimonials to get MTG approved by FDA)......she said she will respond to all e-mails, but to be patient with her response time.

just thought you should know. I'm thinking about giving it a try now."

the fact its being formulated for humans sounds to me like humans shouldn't even be using it. . .

Can you please ask Cindy why that stuff f-up my jewelry? I stop using it because of that! So, when she comes out with the non tarnishing kind ....let a sistah know!

This sounds great. maybe we can send her an email and let her know the side effects so that she can take care of it before it goes on he market. i will send my email when i get to my home computer. keep in mind the Human version may not give great results as the horse version does. horse version is consentrated.

the side effcets: when the oil touches your skin it burns. it also makes you itch and tarnish your jewlery. this is because on the Sulfur. there is a lot of ladies that complain about this.

It's the Sulfur - it tarnishes silver jewelry. I had the same problem with Sulfur8 back in the day.

another side effect? for me, when it touches my skin, my forehead particularly, i break out in bumps...its quite nasty actually because the moment i stop usage for a couple weeks, it goes right away..so im thinking its mtg..but it took my hair from an inch past my shoulders to my lower back now..soo...lol..sometimes you have to take the good with the bad..

Aside from having to polish my silver jewelry everytime I wear it, I have experienced no side effects - aside from growth.

being that i skipped around a lot (ive had the bottle since july) and didnt use it that often because my forehead was breaking out badly..it took me about 4 months maybe 8 times a month plus or minus...i didnt realize how much growth i had until i straightened it! My real goal is having curly hair that close to waist length...

now that im actually motivated to take pictures ima acutally start using my fotki and posting some pictures up...i think what i might also do now is get a big cut---or trim each actual strand to get rid of the split ends that i havent cut in years due to bad haircuts and then in another few months I hope I can grow it back to that length..my goal is waistlength by 07- but hopefully by june!!

hmmmm now that im thinking about it.. i think i want to get a large bottle now...so i wont have to purchase anymore! im thinking of maybe making a butter out of mtg and shea to keep it concentrated and stop it from dripping so my forehead wont break out anymore!

i have a website link somewhere that someone posted on one of the boards that said the big bottle was less than 20 dollars! i'ma dig it out for you ladies if i can so you guys can get it for cheaper than on the site!

hahahha i think before yall call them up i m stock up till the end of year i just need to use that stuff till sept (maybe dec 06) then i'll have a whole year completely documented of usage i m too scared if i were to contact them right now they raise the price and i m thinking one marketed for humans would do me no good i need THAT exact formula till sept so i guess i m stock up i ant buying no $50 product sheeeeeeeesh
lets see one bottle last me 2 months hum i will run out at the end of november so i need 5 bottles okay then basta yep sounds like a plan i notice for animal even doggie shampoos they rarely add fragrance or chemical stuff but just the stuff that works i mean hey dec 31,2005 will mark 5 months i'm using that stuff so will see so far so good i stopped wearing silver jewelry while using the mtg i guess there s a price to pay hihi but i m holding on i only have 9months before the end of my 365 days growth challenge yep sept 2006

I am glad their making one for humans, since it may be in a thicker consistancy like WGO or something, I hope they use natural oils that stimulate for more hair growth and not no cheapy stuff like mineral oil. I am going to send her an email triing to get her to keep it at a cheap price, LOL, I think if she gets enough responses she may thing about it, so everyone let her know your progress and stuff and press the issue of how good the price is. I wish one of the ladies here could have reaped the benefits of this, because it will be making some CASH! Does anyone know who was the first person to try MTG and see results?

well i still have my bottles...i have like 2 and am still using the 1 bottle and barely thru with that bottle..i really stocked up the last time...so this will last me awhile...just think of what the price will be especially if they start manufacturing this towards humans...and think of all the other ingredients they may alter and what they may do to the product in order to manufacture it...i think i will have enough to probably last me thru the spring time(i dont use as much and i dont need i need to be oiled up like a greasey horse lol)...so i probably wont be needing another bottle until May...

be a problem for most of us and since we all intend to stock up, i
definitely thought you ladies could use a cheaper company to buy it
from (they probably wont raise the price that much at all since they
are a smaller company -- not the MAIN company)....i hope all of you
find this link helpful!!!

I think im going to buy one big bottle..the trial size lasted me 4
months of semi-irregular usage...the big bottle will probably last
me 9 months to a year...and that definitely plenty of usage!!!
and saves me some money especially when i apply it with an
applicator tip because i control the flow of the mtg!!

Even if they did, I'd still be a horsey and order the one that has worked for me
The one for humans will be prob altered for potency and fragance to make it appealing so folks dont feel like they are frying bacon on their heads.

well its funny cos i found that when i used mane and tail deep moisturizing conditioner, once they added all that fragrance, it was an okay product but the amount of fake fragrance to cover up the smell just irritated my skin and hurt my nose! :mad:

i think its definitely going to be a less effective product-- with probably a irritating fragrance cos weve all tried everything to mask the smell..and it just eats the fragrance up...hahaha

so im wondering whats gonna happen there! lol
