Keracare New Natural Textures Hair products

I'm not relaxed so I am not sure if my opinion matters.

The products look promising. I love my arab brethren and like how they are trying to get all hair types to try their products. They have quality products (that my relaxed hair tolerates :ohwell: )

OT: However, I hate how the company lies by saying "Our hair models do not use weaves or wigs." That one lie has caused me to not buy anything that they offer.

I am going to order these. I didn't like keracare before but now I love their new formulas. I currently use the new leave in, thermal protector, edge tamer, cream headress, silken seal spray and the cream press.

Hmmm...*thread pokes the monster*

You've disturbed my PJ monster from it's rest! It is angry!:whip: I must try it! I think I'll order the Hair Milk since I'm almost out of my Palmer's. If no one has posted the ingredients by the time I receive it, I would be happy to do this for you ladies.

I know, my PJ monster was disturbed too LOL.... I'm trying not to purchase before someone posts the ingredients but I may not survive that long....:perplexed

I saw the products on their website last night. If they would list the dang ingredients I'd appreciate it. Anyhow, I sent an email to ask them about the ingredients and I got an undeliverable message back. :ohwell:

I'll wait for reviews.

I need to hit up Dr. Syed about this. I have been testing some of their products over the past month and have been really surprised. I need to try to get my hands on this.

What are the prices? Looks like he really is stepping his game up. Something tells me he knows about this forum. The products are sounding really good to me. I want to try the Twist & Define Cream and Defining Custard.

I have always been a KeraCare fan. Now that I'm natural, I've enjoyed their sulfate-free shampoo/conditioner...

I can't wait to purchase!

I'm not natural but I would love to try this!!!

SN: I'ma kinda disturbed that the model doesn't look "natural" at all. Her hair looks just like mine when I have flexi rods in it. *shrugs*

I agree with SimpleKomplexity...the model looks like she has a flexirod set (with weave) or she quite possibly has a wig on. It makes me wonder if the products actually work...

Exactly. It looked like a big wig or weave to me. I want to see natural women with a variety of types (3a-4b) try these products before I am ready to join in. I will wait till some of my fellow LHCF PJ's try out these products before I purchase.

Well looking at the ingredients list i like that the important stuff is at the top of the list. The ingredients dont look too horrible. I would definitely give it a shot even though the prices are scary

The vegetable oil in the cream is iffy.... :ohwell:

Our Beauty Brands has the condish and poo. That's it. Gonna try Ulta and Sephora, I guess. Also the black BSS.

Those ingredients look pretty good. At least the stuff they used to market it isnt the last three ingredients. Anyone try these yet?

Just posted about this on NC.com. These products carry a lot of ceramides and ayurvedic ingredients. Almost as though they are following the hair boards or interjecting ideas....OK, that's a little off, but i am not surprised at this trend.
Still, I would try these products. I've never used Keracare when I was relaxed.

Right now it looks like they're only available online for purchase. I called customer service the other day and the lady told me to look for them at JcPenney salon. I called 3 JcPenneys and they all said they have not heard anything about a new line or new products from keracare :ohwell:

Wow, this is exciting. I used Keracare products almost exclusively when i was relaxed. And still use their Jojoba Oil moisturizer when I wear my hair straight (event tho it has all the so called "bad" ingredients high on the list).

I've actually been meaning to try their sulfate free shampoos. I have a hard time finding a good shampoo. most all the natural ones don't get my hair clean. And the sulfate based ones strip it.

I'll definitely be trying some of these out. Hopefully they will work for 4b hair.

I've seen naturals (in person) who can wear a rod set and it comes out neat like this. However, they they have a very loose, silky texture. My natural hair (4b) could never look like this from a rod set. This does make me wonder if the line is geared towards looser textures.

Hi ladies. Transitioner here 23 weeks into my transition. I used the Keracare Natural Textures Hair Milk two days ago on air-dried hair after washing and DCing. I have to first say that I don't like the smell, and it has a watery/creamy texture instead of a thick, creamy texture. Think really cheap lotion texture. Not bad, just not what I expected. I just used a little on the front of my hair (to try it out)and tied my hair down with a satin scarf for 20 minutes. I took off the scarf, and I did feel like my natural hair was softer. My relaxed hair felt a little softer as well, but it wasn't a noticeable difference like it was with the natural hair. I used some more on the front of my hair this morning and the natural hair feels about the same. I'm going to continue using it to see if I notice a big difference over time. BTW, I always seal with a mix of EVOO, wheat germ oil, and jojoba oil. I want to try using the product for flat twisting the front of my hair as well, and I'll be purchasing the cleansing cream in a couple of weeks since I'm almost out. HTH!

The same could be said for Kinky Curly as well, but I've heard some 4b's say they like it. They don't have pictures of our hair texture on their website either.

I been looking for these products everywhere too. They don't even carry them at local BSS stores yet. I am really anxious to try them.

I loved Kercare as well when I was relaxed, especially the deep conditioner. But I am really trying the tame my PJ monster. Self control is, after all, one of the fruits of the Sprit! LOL
If I can't find this new line in the BSS then I wont even bother to try it. I really hate ordering stuff online (especially after my Karen's Body Beautiful experience).
