Hey ladies,
It is a pleasure to be here, My paypal account is finally working!
Been reading this board for a few weeks. Now, I feel a bit nervous to post!:perplexed Lol.
Anyway, i just want to say what a wonderful supportive site this is, where has this been all my life hey?
Anyways, I'm a black female, aged 22, Born in England- Parents are Jamaican.
From the ages 0-11 i had lovely thick, silky natural hair (type3 i think) It got a bit "unmanageable" so from the ages 11-17 I had wave noveau perm in my hair, it grew it really well until i started expermenting with straight perm relaxers and all the colours under the sun!
I decided to go back natural after my wedding day 7th December 2003.
My HAIR is type 4B, it used to be very thin, damaged and broke a lot because of the "chemicals" I have had it in non stop braids for two years and i am proud of the process, it is now very very thick and appears a lot healthier.
I feel it is about time I get my hair to its best potential and i would like to achieve healthy hair, shoulder length...Not asking for too much am I?(in a few years i'll probably be like..." I want my hair to be waist length!Lol)
I am the only one of my mom's 6 daughters who has ruined her hair!
The rest still have wave noveau the length is middle back...some lovely thick, wavy hair.
I have not showed any member of my family my hair in two years and when i unleash it...Lol, i want them all to say one word "Wow"
So, ladies I need your help on my journey to shoulder length hair
(i guess my hair is about 6inches in some parts, 4 in some and maybe 1 inch at the back-Due to too tight braids)
it did get nearly bald at the back, (that is how I found this website) to help my hair grow.
I have ordered MTG, been Surging for a week and made my own treatment which included essential oils, Glycerine, Aloe Vera and all of the surge products...It is lovely, i steam my hair with it on and it tingles and feels real good.....
Enough from the "chatter box" for now,Please leave a response
Holla back!
:D
