2011 HAIR GOALS!!!

I hope to be full BSL by 12/11, I think I'm hitting APL now, but it's really hard to tell because I don't straighten my hair beyond blowdrying. I bought the Pibbs (love it!), so I'm trying not to blow dry anymore, no direct heat. I would also like to be full SL curly, but this darn shrinkage takes 60% of my length.

Henna once a month
Moisturize and protect
Low manipulation styles
BSL by 12/11

Don't worry be happy
-Complete another long term stretch; at least 8 months.

-Retain 5" -that will have me hovering somewhere around APL.

-Not deviate from my reggie.

If I'm about 2 inches from APL now, is it outrageous to want to be MBL by december 2011? :lachen:...I can dream, can't I?

One goal for 2011 is to just let my hair grow and not obsess over it so much. I gave myself 5 months to go from APL to BSL, but for MBL I'm giving myself a whole year. Hopefully by the end of 2011 I can kick flat ironing altogether being that I only flat iron for length anyway. I just want thick healthy hair all around.

To reach WSL and to continue to listen to my hair. My hair is longer and healthier than it has ever been so....I am good, but I just want that one thing...Waist length!

I want to be APL by December 2011 (i think i'm SL right now, need to do a length check)
I want to learn to do my hair quicker, at the moment its taking so long.
I want to be making my own haircare products.
Most of all i want it to be healthy.

I want to reach BSL by December 2011
I want to learn how to do a deep protein treatment
I want to get rid of these heat damaged ends
Most importantly... I want to learn what my hair needs to be healthy

My goals for 2011 are to finally reach my ultimate goal of WL and to be really more consistant. I also would like to update my fotki on a monthly basis.

I'm being ambitious-- BSL by December 2011. It's possible but I'd have to retain every inch. Continue with the Cathy Howse regimen and bun through 2011.

To continue growing my hair out. So far, my hair is doing soooo much better since I stopped sewing in weaves. I anticipate on reaching shoulder length in April or so. I don't have a CLUE as to how I am going to style my hair for the 2011 summer as I am not to keen on my current protective style, which is wigs. I'm just eager to wear my own hair, at this point. But I am not comfortable with the length as of yet. I am fighting the urge to relax. Overall, I am proud of the progress my hair has made and I am anxious to see how it looks next year around this time.

I hope to continue my transition and chop at the end of May (at 23 months post) or when my natural hair reaches APL stretched. I'll be wearing wigs and half-wigs to accomplish this. I also plan to have ZERO setbacks.

I achieve my past SL status this year so I'm happy about that. Which is great considering I only had half inch of hair on 3/25/09. So my progress has been very good....thank you Lord.

June 2011 - MBL with no setbacks.
December 2011 - on my to WL.

And of course thick and healthy hair

1) Weaving it up till the summer or October.
2) Stop trusting stylist that say they know how to press hair, unless majority of the clientale is natural.
3) Growing back my BSL length that was cut to APL due to stylist damage.
4) To be MBL by October and pass MBL by Dec for my 40th B-day.
