Updates for December: Nothing but twists!

Hi ladies. I put new updates in my December folder. This month I've been trying to keep my hair in two strands, so that's what you will see. You will see that I wear the top pinned up a lot. That is because those are where the hair is straighter and lacks curl. They unravel easily, are straight at the ends and very "limp". I am determined to get them right and for them to work for me. After one day, they can start to look a little rought...and by the end of one week, they look a hot mess! LOL! I'm going to keep at it though....I love the women here who are able to wear twists for up to two weeks! Any tips are welcome:)

I'm also trying to figure out the best way to sleep on them. They tend to take the shape of their possition under the scarf easily and end up going in all types of directions by morning.

I've concluded that Asha's Mane Attraction works best for my two strands, although I have ONE more product to try out to compare.

My hair frizzes easily so I am unable to rock twists without extensions for more then 3 weeks. However, I've found that by pulling my twists back to the nape of my neck with a scrunchy (put on lightly) helps my twists stay in shape underneath my scarf.

I wear twists all the time and I have that problem after I wake, the twists being all over the place. I just spritz w/ some leave inn and it's back to normal.

Your twists are beautiful!!!! I'm loving your hair. The Asha's line is working well for you. Once my hair grows out I'll be reordering.

I love your twists! And your hair looks very healthy. I have the exact same thing going on with the straightish strands in front. I cut off part of it (the most obvious part in front) a few days ago and I'm hoping it'll stop unravelling and looking weird amongst my naps. I wrap my twists at night and band them to keep them stretched. But I'm still trying to figure this out too. Oh and I don't wash them often since that creates tangles and makes them fuzzy and matted. Happy Holidays!
