well, it's that time again... the end of the year. time to dig out the camera and see how much progress you've made in 12 months.

here's mine:
January (Start of My Journey)
July (Trimmed The Front)
December (My First Phytorelaxer + Bangs Grown Back)

March 2005- November 2005 (8 months) 5 INCHES! whoo-hoo!
1st pic: Starting length.
2nd pic: July (4 months after starting length)
3rd pic: Late november (8 months after starting length)

Unfortunately for me, I'm the same place now that I was at the beginning of the year (several inches were cut off in the summer and they've grown back), so nothing to see here! :grin:

Awful progress in terms on overall length, looks basically the same (but worse?), but my main goal has been transitioning. I've got about 5" of natural hair so I'm not doing too badly there. If I start exercising properly in the new year maybe I'll get more growth than this year.
I had quite a few trims this year but it still looks like i need a 4-5" cut in the second pic!

For those who have pics on your computer but don't know how to post them, go to the lhcf gallery and upload them there. You can just send people to your album there, or place the url of an individual picture between image tags i.e. your url here to have it show up in a post. Make sure you are putting the url of just the image, not the page the image is on. You have to right-click or control-click on the image and copy the image address.

I retained 6.5 inches this year (5.5 of which I've gotten in the last 9 months)! :weird:

I've never gotten this much before--I always used to get like 3 inches per year. Hooray for con washes!
The first pic is from 12/19/04. I was still transitioning, but you can see the line of demarcation pretty well. Stretched out the newgrowth is about 3.5 inches. The second pic is from a few days ago, 12/20/05. The length is 10 inches.

I had to trim too much this year because my hair is uneven. Hopefully I'll have a good update next year. :yep:

I had a few "trims" and "end clippings" over this past year. I won't make that mistake in 2006! I guess-timate that I've lost a good 6 inches because of it. I clearly have not made the progress I wanted to make even though I still think I met my goal for the year...I won't know until after my next relaxer....

Anyway, the first one was taken around this time last year...end of 2004 and the second one was taken mid-November 2005

I HAD my last relaxer sept 9,2004 .Transitioned for a year then did my first big chop and did the blond ambition thing :grin:

Results: Big chopped bald June 2005 and its been 6 months (6-7inches some part 8inches) as of dec it will be a year in june 2006.

dec27 just removed my two puffs and brushed the hair to put it in small braids. Did not airdry or use heat.
