Hempz Anybody?

So I stopped at TJMaxx today to see what hair products they had. I saw a line called Hempz. Has anybody used this line? It has Hemp Oil and Hemp Extracts in it. I picked up the Hempz Reconstructor and the Hempz Color Preserve Conditioner for $6.99 each. They also had a Hydrating Conditioner and a Leave In Detangler. I think I'll try one of them tonight, but I'm curious if anyone else has ever used them?

Well I tried the Reconstructor tonight. It was very nice! It's really thick, but I wouldn't call it creamy. The scent was nice, very subtle. I left it on for 10 mins with heat per the instructions. My hair felt nice and soft yet strong. Not a lot of slip, and I did follow with a moisturizing DC. Even though it's called a reconstructor, I think it's a mild to medium protein.

I couldn't find the ingredients online anywhere, and I don't feel like typing all that out lol, but some of the yummy ingredients are Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Extract, Hemp Seed Amino Acids, Hemp Seed Protein, Hydrolyzed Hemp Seed Protein, Cannabis Sativa Seed Extract, Sage Leaf Extract.

Can't wait to try the other one.

Ladies, if you find some please come back and let me know what you think. I may go back and pick up what I left behind.

I think I'm developing the symptoms of a Product Junkie. I remember seeing this title thread yesterday and didn't read it. While at TJMaxx today, I remembered the title..saw the bottle and bought it. :look:

I got the color treated conditioner one. I use Hemp Seed oil in my leave ins and to seal, so I'm curious to see how this will workout as a condish. :lick:

My sister bought me (more like us) the gallon size hydrating conditioner from TJMaxx as my V-day "gift" (not really a gift since I know she will be all up in it) since I'm on a no-buy. The smell is really overpowering, but once I try it I will report back with a review.

I used the color preserve my last wash. Very moisturizing and it left my hair so soft. I will definitely be checking for the hydrating conditioner next time I'm in TJ.

Just got done using the Hempz Color Preserve Conditioner. Now, the only 'color' I have on my hair is henna. I really like this conditioner!

It has a VERY floral scent, like roses. May be too much for those with sensitive noses but I liked it alot. I have my hair wrapped in a Tshirt, and I can still smell the floral rose scent! It's a very thick and creamy conditioner. It actually has the thickness of a DC.

It's been almost 2 weeks since I've cleansed my hair at all, besides moisturizing/sealing a few times each week. My hair is completely clean now! It's soft and clumped my kinks and curlies.

I'm glad I picked this up yesterday while at Target. I'm super happy with my purchase, and I can't wait to use this again!
