Hair update(pics)

Hi Ladies here's my update. I haven't done one of these in a very long time. I'm currently transitioning. My last relaxer was in September '10 and I have about 2 1/2" of newgrowth. I had a weave in for the last five weeks and just took it down. I look to be bsl, not really a difference from my last update in my siggy.

-I sectioned my hair in about 10 or 12 small pony tails all over my head (got that on YT from boundless tresses lady)

-clarified

-protein treated for an hour with nexxus emergencee(my holy grail)

-dc'ed with NTM deep recovery mask and organic coconut oil for 6 hours under a steam cap off and on as I did stuff around the house.

-Rinsed and finshed with an acv rinse.

-Airdried then blowdried and flat ironed with a mix of nexxus humectress, ic fantasia, and megatek.

-Trimmed with split ender.

Sounds like alot? I broke this down over 3 days as I had other things to do.

First two pics are after weave takedown. Use siggy pic to compare.

ETA: Siggy comparison pic was taken on November 28th 2009

I wish mine could get that thick. It's very pretty. And I spread my routine out too. Btw isn't that the best thing to do right after a take down(give a good treatment protein/moisture)? Idk...i say Great job!

Very pretty!! I like the post take down hair too :)

I liked it too. If it wasn't so cold I would have worn it that way for the day. Oh and I used the tangle teezer. LOVED IT!!!!

Very pretty!
How long have you been BSL?

Since September. I wore it down alot in the fall to enjoy it for a while. I maintained the length at bsl to keep splits at bay. Now I'm ready to go for midback.

Yes it would have been to much. Plus I was getting tired.

Thanks Ladies. I didn't realise I was at bsl till someone pointed it out while taking my weave out last September. I never thought I'd ever get there but now that I've reached it I'm aiming for midback then wsl all while transitioning. I think I'll be fine as long as I have my trusty nexxus emergencee. Nothing else works for me. It has saved my five months post hair. If they discontinued it I'd DIE!!!! :(

Very nice!

According to your pics, it appears the Split Ender does a pretty good job. I've seen mixed reviews on it but I was thinking about getting one.
