Hey ladies!!!

This weekend I have a big bachelorette blow out so my hair will have to stay moisturized and hidden the entire weekend. On Sunday, I will do my weekly shampoo and DC and I may incorporate an oil rinse or hot oil treatment for my curlies.

What about you guys??? Anyone trying out new hairstyles? Flat iron maybe??

For me not even sure yet.. I did a Henna Gloss last weekend followed w/Indigo. So I think this weekend will be focusing on getting moisture in my hair esp from the Indigo. Also since I am almost natural in the back I think I have about 1 inch of relax hair I thought about just snipping that but not sure what kind of style I can wear my hair since I want the natural part to be out..

I will be trying out a newish hair style ....

I will be doing my Joico 17 Minute Miracle routine and getting under the steamer for the first time in months.

I will then attempt bantu knots for a bantu knot out tomorrow (this will be my second attempt). I hope it turns out decent because I have to go out in public tomorrow :look:

Oh boy! I want pics if it comes out as gorgeous as I think it will. If it doesn't come out like you want, pin that sucker up in a cute modified french twist!

Well let's see... I put box braids in my hair last night and set them on perm rollers to keep hair above SL and minimize the chance that my hair will come in contact with clothing. I'm hoping to wear them for at least 2 weeks as the PS of choice. During that time I'll DC and continue using the products from the challenges I'm in. I'll keep the braids mostly in updos and add various hair toys to complete the looks.

I'm doing a semi permanent color. These grays are KILLING ME! But my hair and color don't usually like each other, but I can't take it anymore! Wish me luck!

Since I did an overnight condition last night, I don't have to do that this weekend. :)

I plan to continue to experiment with my tangle teazer. :yay: I am tossing around the idea of straightening for a length check, but IDK. If I don't straighten, I will be puffing all weekend.

My greys was so bad that gel couldn't hold it down.. My greys are right at the sides of my head near the temple.. I would gel them down at night b4 bed and then again in the morning tie my hair down and go to work go by mid day I look in the mirror and those suckas are just standing straight up like I never put gel on my hair. I henna gloss over the weekend w/indigo and now those suckas are behaving..

Still working on my regimen. Trying a new shampoo with the chicoro recipe. Then modifying my styling process: trying a leave in, coconut oil, seal with butter, heat cap for 30 minutes, apply KCCC and twist. I am hoping that I can get my moisture levels right the 1st day instead of the 2nd or 3rd day.

Taking a Break from Posting
Wash with CON Green old formula
DC with Lustrasilk Shea butter and Mango cholesterol
Porosity Control as my final rinse
Apply Herbal Essence LTR as my leave in
Apply One n Only Argan Oil as my heat protectant
Blow dry and Flat Iron

Gonna just moisturize and seal before bed, each night (as I always do). Doing the bun chall, so my hair will be gelled back with aloe vera/green tea gel for the weekend, or I will put it up in a hair clip and have a few tendrils hanging down. If I don't go out, I will have a scarf on to keep my hair styled.

Hey I read your post again I wasn't sure if you wanted to know how I slick my ponytail back or the Henna Gloss Recipe now I know.. I got my recipe from Top Mop Maven but I tweeked mine a little because I didn't have some of the items she had..I also sent you a PM..

Top Mop Maven Recipe:
Here is Top Mop Maven Henna/Gloss Recipe

200G Henna [two boxes]
1/2 Cup Hello Hydration Conditioner
1 Cup Lustrasilk Mango & Shea Butter Conditioner
1/2 Cup of Brahmi Oil added to mixture before applying the Henna on my hair.

My Recipe:
200G Henna Jamilia Henna (2bxs)
1 cup of Lustrasilk Argan Oil Conditioner
1/2 Hello Hydration b4 the changed the name (can't remember the name)
1/2 cup of GrapeSeed & Walnut Oil ( applied the oil b4 I put the henna gloss in my hair)
I didn't have any Brahmi Oil so I used this mixture

I did let my mixture sit over night for color release. Most people don't do this so this can be your personal preference

Then I followed up with the Indigo.. Mixed Indigo, water and salt.. This left my hair a little dry so that is why you need to follow up with a good DC.. Doing the Henna Gloss my hair was so soft.. Following with the Indigo gives your hair a black color.. Just doing the Henna Gloss alone with give off some reddish highlites..

Next time I will do a Henna Indigo Gloss where I mix the Indigo after I left the Henna Gloss sit instead of doing the Indigo for my last step I will do them all in one step..

Apparently Saturday's full moon will be the biggest in 20 years so I'm wondering if I should trim my hair on that day.

Well after having my hair look a hot mess at work today. I decided to do an Brahmi, fenugreek, and bhringraj paste mask on my hair and I'm sitting here waiting until I feel like washing it out.

I tell you one thing, I will never use Qhemet Olive Honey and Hydrating Balm to seal in moisture after a wash and go. That stuff left my hair extremely coated, frizzy and just nasty looking mess. Couldn't get my cuticles to lay down, I just toughed it out and threw on a head band. I have tried this stuff in every way possible and my hair just hates it..oh well, swap board.

I just straightened my hair for a length check.
I'm getting it trimmed tomorrow.
And colored.
What color? I don't yet know.
I'm going to have my stylist just scrunch me with mousse after coloring so I won't risk any heat damage having him straighten me out again.

I'll probably just bun it on sunday.
