TGIF ladies!!! :woot:

So I did a blow out last night to do a set of Celie braids and will TRY to do a braid out tomorrow for an outdoor festival we have here this weekend in New Orleans (French Quarter Fest for those that are from the area). Sunday will be my wash and DC day since I can't do it tomorrow.

What about you guys???

Wash and DC. Then putting it up in high pony. Afterwards Im going to braid the pony into about 4 braids and put rollers on them and sit under my dryer. When done twist it into a textured bun. I'm a little apprehensive because I left my setting lotion at home. Ugh  . I am hoping some Wave Nouveau will do the trick to "set" the braids for more texture/crinkle

I'm taking my weave out tonight. I can't deal with the shedding and tangles anymore. :nono: I'm going to DC not sure with what yet. Tomorrow I'm having a trim and then will either press or flatiron my hair.

I hope your trim goes well Rose1 - make sure they only cut what you want and I'm sure you will be delighted!

Tonight I was planning to mist my hair and braid it up in a ton of braids so that I could take it out tomorrow and rock a braid out. I'm in a 5 mile race and wanted to be the natural (looking) sister in the crowd. BUT I've been wearing my hair in curlformer rollers all week and honestly this looks so good I'm wondering why i should change a good thing. So...I think I will wear it BIG and curly with a headband just in case it gets sweat soaked from the run. I will keep a hair tie handy too!

Then I'm going to wash it when I get home, deep condition and do the entire curl former thing all over again. It looks "salon professional" to me.

I did a protein treatment this past Wednesday and then cornrowed my hair as if preparing for a weave yesterday. So all I have to do is oil my scalp and moisturize on Saturday or Sunday. :) I'll wig it when going out. I love lazy PS'ing.

Did an Aritha paste this morning. Now have Brahmi, hibiscus, bhringraj paste on my head for the next 4-5hrs.

Then DC with Silk Elements, moisturize, seal, then in some african threads.

(Too busy and too lazy too  )

Gonna keep my two-stran twists in another week before taking them down.

I am going to remove my box braids, I am sure this will be a 4 to 6 hour undertaking.

I am not sure what I will do next with my hair. I may revisit the twist out for a day or so then back into a PS but I dont know what kind yet

Over the next 3 days I'll be taking out 4 week old box braids, overnight DCing, trying out a new leave in, then flat-ironing for the first time since I started my HHJ last year (with a brand new FHI flat iron) and seeing how my hair blends with my new UPA :yay:

The box braids were fun. I did them myself & got a lot of compliments but I'm dying to play with my real hair :)
