Very nice and thanks for sharing. If my eyes are not playing tricks on me, your longest layer appears to be at waist :yep:

Beautiful hair! You look WL to me!

Thanks ladies. I do think the longest part is WL but I'm not officially claiming it, especially since I may cut it off within the next year. I really don't like the U. I am also bitter because my hair used to be so blunt and full on the ends and I hate to think how much fuller it could be now if Bigfoot hadn't chopped it off. :nono:

Curious..what's the longest your hair has been prior to LHCF?

Probably between BSL and MBL. I don't think it was ever MBL. I've had longish hair before but my personal challenge was to prove that you can be double processed and healthy.

You're giving me everything I need and more with this update! Love it! Do you ever do braid outs? If so I am interested in seeing how that looks with your texture.

Here's my bantu knot out which I LOVED! I put it up into a high bun and loosely pinned the curls:

Your hair is beautiful. I love the length and the color.

What's your regi?

Ps you look like you are five minutes away from waistlength. ;)

Thank you! I've simplified my reggie a lot.
  • I wash twice a week and rollerset each time (it works out to every 4 - 5 days).
  • I stretch my relaxers to 4 - 5 times a year, and my color touchups to 2 - 3 times a year.
  • I avoid heat. This last stretch was 4 months and 1 week. I only flat ironed my hair twice during this period. Wearing straight hair is a treat and allows me to see my length every now and again.
  • During the summer I cowash once or twice a week, usually after a heavy workout when I don't feel like rollersetting.
  • I keep my ends soft with shea butter and EVOO.
  • I use salon quality product lines such as Aveda, Redken and Joico. I invest a little more on products to prevent damage to my hair.
  • I use seamless combs. There is an awesome Madora bone comb, it costs $30 with shipping  but it really is worth it. HTH!
I remember when your SHS cut off your hair, so I'm so happy to see that you've made such great progress!!!!! :congrats:

Thank you! I shudder to think of that time or I will get mad again. But maybe in another 1-2 years those shorter layers will have grown out and I can be full blunt MBL! :drunk:

Great progress! Love the hair!:gorgeous:

Thanks! I love your siggy!
I think your hair is lovely as is. (Blunt ends are overrated,.)

Haha, I still like blunt better. ;)

Do you have a hair album? I am in love!

Sorry no. I can PM you links to some of my older threads if you want. I have a progress thread from a year or two ago with tons of pictures.

Beautiful OP! I guess I'm going to be the only one who asks....what's your detailed reggie!? I MUST KNOW!!!

Thanks! I posted it above.

I'm not quite sure why but your pics won't fully load on my computer... but the hair in your avatar is AMAZING! it looks soooo thick and I especially love the color. I want my hair to be just like yours when it grows up :)
