Youtube's lack of Transitioning Channels

I have noticed that Youtube doesn't really have that many transitioning channels. As a matter of fact, I can only name 1 or 2 off the top of my head that are even slightly popular.

I'm natural already but I can honestly say that just out of curiosity, I did search for transitioning videos on youtube, there aren't really any popular ones in my opinion.

Its 1 thing to be completely natural already, but transitioing is a different ball game. What do you ladies think?

I started mine last year when I was transitioning for that same reason, and I'm no where near popular. I don't know of any popular channels.

I've never searched, but I haven't come across many myself so you might be right.
I know my hair looks a little crazy when wet, so that might be it. I also do the same few styles over and over which is not exciting (braidouts, ponytail, flat-iron every now and then to make it easier to cut relaxed ends).

(I'm *looks at siggy ticker* one year and 7 months into mine and it was an old video done by sylver2 when she stretched her relaxer for a year that inspired me to stretch that long and ultimately decide to transition. The same tips for dealing with the two textures applied, so I never went to look for vids specifically about transitioning)

I haven't done a 'transitioning from relaxed to natural' search since my BC... but I did notice a lack of new faces. All the videos I watched, I had viewed at least 15 times before. Another thing I have noticed is that there isn't many people with long or longish natural hair on YT. Most people are only a few months post their BC and now that I am focusing my attention more on growing my hair long, I really want to try and get a picture of what my hair might look like at various lengths. I don't want to watch ppl with SUPER long hair, just...idk....how do I explain...

When I was transitioning, I looked at SO MANY VIDEOS trying to get an idea of what my hair might look like at 7 months post, 10 months post, etc. I want that same kind of growth tracking available to me now that I am fully natural. Not just pictures on da web :( does that make sense??! lol ugh neverrrminddd

I think that it's they end up BCing and the focus of the channel changes. Many popular YT natural channels began as transitioners.

TRANSITION OVER! 11-22-14
There are so many people transitioning. They are probably natural now, though. put transitioning in the search engine and you will find it.:yep: They are out there. In fact, there seems to be more of them than relaxed You tubers.

^^^I was just going to mention Nina Pruitt. I always recommend her channel to my transitioning friends. She is still transitioning. She says she will cut her relaxed ends in Jan 2012.

Same here.

There out there, but not popular because most transitioners don't have super long hair yet so no one wants to see that. People want to see waist mid back length and beyond.
