Did you know that sending good vibes to your hair will help it grow stronger? Its like talking to a plant and showing it attention & love...it will grow!- F.L.

@SoulisticBeyouty what date is stamped on your meds? :look: Methinks you need a new bottle pronto.

J/K ...but I don't do growth aids, and I'll pass on this brilliant idea too. I'm lucky I'm still walking around loose among normal people, as crazy as I am. The last thing I need do is give folks one more reason why I should be committed to a loonybin for the safety of the public.

Hey! It was quote! lol! Being that our hair has spiritual ties, hairstorically speaking, it may work!
Hair's value and worth are heightened by its spiritual qualities in MANY cultures!

I can't talk to my hair and not feel insane. I have great growth and retention from just being gentler in handling. I think that's enough. But more power to you dear. Update us with your growth from the happy thoughts

I feel you. You're not saying to grab a plait and stroke it whilst giving a motivational speech! Just stop negative talk/vibes directed towards your hair.

ITA with you and the OP....many ont his board tend to see their hair as a nuisance and a chore instead of treating it with care, been gentle, and visualizing it at their goal length....too often ladies on here look for quick fixes & miracle growth products instead of nailing a reggie and sticking to it.:yep:

here's a article on the metaphysics of hair:

ITA with that idea OP. It didn't need to be taken literally. Feeling good about yourself in general leads to better health and well being. It naturally follows that feeling good about your hair would encourage healthy hair.

Funny. I was thinking about that for the past week.

I am a gardener that loves plants, and I can vouch that plants grow better when you give them love vocally and in vibes, in addition to water and nutrients.

After I did the BC, I fell in love with my hair and the vibes I was sending it were very loving. My hair grew like weeds without protective styles. Then I started reading on all these forums how black hair needs protective styles to grow and I started worrying about it and my hair growth started to stall. Then I started to be unhappy about my hair, and for the past few years, I have been sending it unloving vibes because I really don't like to be stuck in PS. No wonder I have experienced hair loss...:nono:

I need to go back to doing what I was doing before. Loving my hair, talking to it like it's a wonderful piece of fabric that is strong and grows and wear my hair out like I did before I began worrying that it would break if I didn't hide my ends.

Dear hair,

Don't make me talk to you again, the last time I did, I made you disappear.
Sorry about that tight-tailed clip I had you in last Summer that broke you off, in a bad way, I won't do that again. Now thicken up and grow!

Well... I don't think I will talk to it specifically, but I'll be sure to include it in my daily prayer. I say those aloud usually, so I think that counts :)
