I'm a natural 4b/a and the only thing that works for me is spritzing my hair with water and applying a butter, like shea butter or avocado butter.

Qhemet Biologics Burdock Root Butter Cream, I also make my own mix of shea butter and coconut oil that works really really well.

ladykpnyc You use this mixture as a moisturizer or a sealer?

Herbal Essence's Hyrdalicious Featherweight conditioner is pretty good and it smells good.

There are so many, but Elasta QP Mango Butter works well, is cheap, and easy to find on teh ground. You just have to find the best way to use it on your hair. Bee Mine and Qhemet are great if you want to step it up a notch.

I forgot Uncle Funky's Daughter Supercurl...

Moisturizer...and sealer :look: It's the only thing I put in my hair after I wash and it leaves my hair really soft. Coconut oil has the ability to penetrate the hair shaft and shea butter always works (sometimes I use cocoa butter for my mix if I'm out of shea). It leave my hair feeling silky soft.

elasta qp mango and olive oil butter, works wonders in the winter/ all-year round!! i SWEAR by the mess!! can be heavy, but if you mix a bit with some water in your palms, it's smooth sailing!

I use elasta qp mango butter mixed with glycerine and seal the ends with a light oil. I just discovered how well this works for my hair. My hair stays moisterized for days now!

wow.... westND do you use this on wet or dry hair? this is a product that absolutely does nothing for me...feels like a cheap lotion:sad: -- applied it lightly on washed & conditioned hair... nothing:nono: spritz with water the next day, applied more-- zip! nada! #flop (natural4a-iish)

I use it on wet and dry hair (check out my stretching video). I am heavy handed with it, so if you are using it lightly, you should consider getting a little heavy with it.

I have been looking all over for this mention :lachen:

I don't know why it wasn't listed :ohwell:

Lately, I've been using 2 squirts of the S Curl to
1 pump of HE LTR on damp hair. The Red raspberry
smells so good.

Then I seal with Softee Indian Hemp before twisting.

Super soft hair that stays that way for days in twists
and twisted out.

Been trying this out to make sure it works because
I needed to find something that will keep my hair soft
when the cold dry winter is in full effect.

So, yea, Nonie's S Curl rec and Bublin's heavy sealing
does it for me.

Nonie, go on and preach. You know you want to, lol.

I like Shea Moisture's Curl Enhancing Smoothie for moisture. It works great on damp and dry hair but I don't really like it on soaking wet hair. I've been using Oyin Shine and Define for soft hold. I only add moisture once a week and that's on wash days. It stays touchably soft.

shescentit's coco cream leave in conditioner. i revisited this product last night and i dont know why the hell i stopped using it. it instantly softened and smoothed out my hair. i sprayed my hair with my aloe vera and water mix this morning and applied the leave in and sealed with pomegranate seed oil (looking like a staple) and i have been unable to keep my hands out of my head for more than 2 seconds. seriously. this is prob the best my hair has felt in a while. i am so glad i've most likely found my regimen. but back to moisturizers, i know for a fact that my hair responds the best to water-based creams. this coco creme is perfect.
