After a month of puff'ing it, I`decided to lightly flat iron and bantu knot. I'm loving the results Pics are below:

Looks great. I did a bantu knot out today and it looked wonderful but it always falls by the end of the day and looks odd and I'm wary of using gels to hold the style.

Hi ladies! Thanks for all of the kind words

Soooooo...Here is what I did

1)Deep conditioned on dry hair
2)Washed and partially air-dried in four plaits
3)Finished drying with the tension method using FHI hot sauce
4) Lightly flat ironed wwith maxiglide using Chi Thermal protectant
4) Then I twirled the hair around itself and placed a clip like in the video below using John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum on my hands

The pics below are from the next day... I retwirled the hair, and those were the after results.

Unfortunately, I started a boxing class today (so much fun), but my hair has gone POOF I guess I'll bun for the rest of the week

Looks great, OP! I just tried my first bantu knot 3 days ago b/c I was tired of my style, plus i figured if it turned out bad I could to ole-faithful (aka the bun). I loved the results and it was super easy.

I moisturized w/ Wave Nouveau, sealed with carrot oil and twisted. BTW this is end of the day hair so it lasted well throughout the day.

Nice job ladies.

I'm gonna have to revisit bantu knot outs. I gave up months ago mine only looked good for 30mins before becoming a fuzzy mess.
