What are you laying your Edges down w/?

Just cut my hair short and wanna lay the edges and front sides down some more. So far I've just been doing so while the hair is dry, but I'm thinking I'll need to mold those areas while wet. Any ideas? I currently use that Profectiv cream on dry hair, but after it dries my hair looks kinda dry :ohwell: and not as 'laid' as I want it. I'm thinking of trying wrapping foam/lotion while it's wet. It doesn't need to be a glazed/gelled look, but I do want it to look like it's supposed to be laying down that way and molded.

I mist my hair and use with Oyin Burnt Sugar Pomade or ORS Edge Control, then tied down with a scarf for as long as possible.

ORS Edge Control is a beast on my edges. I'm 19 weeks in a stretch and it still lays them down. I read Keracare and Syntonics has one that's even better.

Castor oil and a scarf, shea butter and a scarf, eco-styler and a scarf, edge control and a scarf.

I think really the scarf is the main thing that keeps my edges down...

Oyin Burnt Sugar Pomade works great! I have also used ORS edge control, which isn't bad either.

water, eco-styler gel, scarf and time.

This is not working for me. Every time I do my bun, my edges look like a mini curly afro around my head while the rest of my hair is laid. I hate it. I need something very natural but with more staying power. I'm 20 weeks and I dont plan on going back to relaxing.

Thanks for starting this thread OP.

I think this is pretty good at laying my edges. And I agree that the scarf is the main thing that helps.
