If you want colored relaxed healthy hair....

I had got a rinse today and it took to my root with out me having to get the new growth lightened or bleached so I don't have to lighten it no more, it colors my dark reddish brown hair a bright red! so happy so i can limit the chemicals that I put on my hair, so other than a relaxer, I don't have to put none, I wish I would have known that before, my hair look fresh again :) but the part that was lightened isn't damaged either but I learned something today! I used kiss truly red btw if you wanted to know. I had got it done feb 13 and I noticed it was fading and wanted to brighten it up and thought it wouldn't take to my root and it actually did. Going to try and post pics. So If your relaxed and afraid of the damage and commitment of a permanent color or lightening your hair, I would suggest using the semi permanent kiss of whatever color you want(even bright colors). The down fall is you will have to apply maybe 3 weeks or a month later, but who cares? It's harmless to your hair and that's what we all are seeking right? And you can even apply it after a relaxer because it's not a chemical and only coats the hair and doesn't penetrate so that's what makes it not permanent . So you can have a fresh relaxer and color and it can still be healthy :)

Uploading my pics in diff light so that's why it look like different shades of red, the brighter red is the light from the bathroom and we know the bathroom takes the best pictures lol

And notice it's full coverage and since three weeks ago I had probably a quarter of an inch of new growth and it blends perfectly :))))

Ooooh so bright! It's pretty but you might want to rotate the pictures so that it's easier to look at and not upside down.

I have a relaxer and I used a semi-permanent thinking that my hair wouldnt lighten that much & it really did. I did it about 1.5 years ago and the color is still there.

I'm sorry, I'm on the iPad and I guess that was the wrong way I took it

Thanks for agreeing, a lot of hair could be saved if people knew this, you look at videos and people say and beauticians that "your hair is too dark, it's impossible to go that light", I say rebel and try it anyway lol

I thought I was ok with using rinses too but after a couple of months my hair started breaking badly. I have very thin strands though so any type of color on top of my relaxer (except henna) gives me problems.

Glad it worked for you.:yep:

I had one girl say a rinse took out her hair but I never ever heard any complaints about a rinse besides hers

Wow! I can't believe how vibrant the color showed up! Is your hair naturally light? I might haveta go get me some auburn! But my natural hair color is really dark so I'll wait to hear what your virgin hair color is.....

My virgin hair is dark brown when moisturized and when not showed little tints of red so a dark reddish brown, it's in my pic

Your hair must take color pretty well. I've used that rinse you used plus many others and have never gotten such a vibrant color. It's beautiful though!
