For my 4b hair. I do my usual wash and condition and leave in but the difference is that I started sealing with a pomade called Natures Blessing. I literally have that 3 strands of hair come out when I comb. Also my hair is stretch without me blowdrying. The product is natural, no petroleum or mineral oil. Just thought I'd share. I got mine from the bss but I see it on Amazon.

I've heard a lot of good things about that product. But it does have petroleum in it. If I could find it on the ground, I might try it.

The petroleum in this product is listed as mineral jelly.

I use this sometimes to seal my oldest DD's hair, and to also sometimes seal my own when I'm cornrowing using the DMM. Good stuff. Does a good job of keeping the hair moisturized.

If you're in the DC area, you can buy it at Yes Organic Market.

Yes it is the sealing that had me sold. I put my kinky hair leave in and seal with this. I braid my hair and let it dry and not only is my hair super moisturized and soft but it stays like that for days. If I want to reseal I just use some water or a moistuirzier and seal again. The odd thing is that I have had the pomade for almost 2 years and only used it once. since I was sealing with coconut oil I decided to try this and the results superexceed the coconut oil. Crazy how we have stuff in our cabinets and go crazy buying new stuff when we have products that work just fine.
