Spring Cleaning! What are you throwing out that didn't cut it for your hair?

I need a bull dozer with all the junk I've retained!

Almost tempted to get rid of the entire Mizani Butter Blend Relaxer system but man...............that was $100.00

I will be going through my stash later and I definitely have items I will be giving away. Off the top of my head the gallon of vegetable glycerin that I bought before realizing I'm not a fan, smh.

I was going to suggest giving them to friends or family; exchanging/swapping them on here or another hair board; or donating them to a women's center, shelter, or group home.

Spring cleaning is a great idea. I need to get on it.

I rarelly ever get rid of anything. I try to find a reason to repurpose it. I figure i can always use conditioners (no matter how crappy) for washing out henna or something. Not sure what to do with all the poos now that I am a 'ride or die' fan of Terressentials Mud Wash. I've got sprays and Miss Jessies galore. Looks like I should do some spring cleaning too huh? Darn you LHCF for turning me into some kind of a product junkie monster.

i cleaned out my hair grave yard this week myself....mostly old stuff that i couldn't giveaway due to the age of the product.

i swear i had half a lawn garbage bag full of worthless crap. old keracare products from like 7 years ago. half wigs that i bought but once opened realized they are *****....... wth? oils that have mineral oil, etc. a bunch of stuff i never ever would put in my hair now just taking up space....

now with all this space, i have a cart full of stuff on sage neutraceuticals (sp?) LOL

I used my shampoos for my body (those with natural ingredients) or as hand soap (drugstore brands).

nothing really. Any conditioners imma throw some coconut oil in and make them work lol even if it is for a prepoo or something.

Yeah, I need to do some spring cleaning with my hair stuff. I have some old oils and leave-ins that need to go, and I can certainly use the extra room in my cabinet.

I could give up my whole 50 gallon bin. Nothing works for me and even though one can try and repurpose its like junk to me. I just want a bag worth of reups and that's it.

and Im throwing out the rest of this Silicon Mix I bought, extremely disappointing at the results after using the small jar and it being so luscious, I bought the huge tub and it stanks..

Im trying to do a 16 week stretch. im not gonna risk using the SM now.

HoneyDew - Yes, Its weird, when I bought the small one from Beauty 4 U, it was wonderful. But when I ordered like the gallon size, it was like awesome until it was rinsed out and then it felt stripped, like it had no moisture at all.

I am gonna stick with my Organics Hair Mayo

- Even MMP doesnt work that great for me anymore..

I know for a fact that I not feeling lacio lacio or salerm 21 with B5 but I have a new lil sis that is really into doing hair so I might give her them. I am almost scurred to go through my stash but that is one the things that I need to do during the summer.

After being on here for 7 years I have curbed my PJism greatly. The only things I want to get rid of is Hair One and Darcy Botanicals cream gel. I have a few conditioners that are just "okay" but I use it as shaving cream when I'm out of actual shaving cream.

OP, I'll take that aphogee off your hands :lol:
